Bottomline: These cars are same. Same build, quality and every damn thing. VW has a little better service that Skoda. That is it.

I don't know everyone talk about that single comment about the seat lever all should never forget Skoda is sharing auto parts and the production units from VW in India since they have worst service maintainece of Skoda owners says that not only the car should talk about the behind on maintenance should also be concentrated as we all live in Indian road conditions VW doing better on those so guys talk neutral on comments even we own both Vento&Skoda dad and brother so I do agree with points

On what basis are you deciding this ? When u say rapid has better driving and control but Vento might have better plastic. And you decide to go for Vento - Do you mean interior plastic should have a higher weightage to handling and drive experience ?

both cars were having the same.but rapid engine and transmission is good plus good quality.

The rapid also provides the lever to push the front passenger seat i guess. In the top end model only though.

I seriously couldnt find any much difference in either cars. Both are same and what this guy says doesnt make much sense. I dont see how he feel any difference. Everything is almost the same except the external body.

rapid is better than vento

Rapid is always better than VW. Ground clearence is higher and suspension is good in Rapid.

biased is not him..biased r the owners hu own rapid or vento.. cz closely looked at both the germans..there is nodin to compare bwn both these two.. And understand one factor,, more u get used to a car.. more it bcomes drivable.. drive safe..

i do not know how he chose a winner by comparing two practically same cars . VW wins because of the badge ( LOL ) , the interiors ( VW AT is 1.7 L more expensive than rapid) and the diesel engine ( LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!! its the same engine dude )

Auto Portal could u tell how much more maintenance dsg automatic box requires over manual and the risks of transmission failures and their life and how much it costs for replacement of such gearboxes? and i am just wondering is these cars are so neck to neck why did u pick vw , instead it could have been either one of them?

rapid suspension performes better in high speed but vento suspension is very soft ideal for city not for highway but vw service network is better than Skoda in other words I wants to say that if you will to pay more than go for rapid but if want to save some money than vento is ideal
