I'd got my Seltos serviced for the 20k kms time interval, it's 1.5L IVT. cost me 8k. So, VW is at par with the Koreans, who are having the perception of being on the pricier side. Quality of interior is better(I feel so), but VW and Skoda have good build where it matters. Had they launched these 2.0 products a bit earlier I would have considered them. Waving from TN :)

Very nice car and very safe as well. Maine jitne bhi Slavia ki crash ke videos dekhe hai, the car has provided maximum safety to all passengers. For family, this is a nice car to have.
Ur videos and ur personal decision of going with Slavia gave me confidence to buy skoda slavia 1AT and i must admit it is a great car ticking almost all the boxes in terms of looks and performance.
@1.02 my Slavia came with a bonnet insulation and i was so surprised to see it. My car is style AT and got it on 23 dec last year. In my openion VW Virtus has best tail lights in the price bracket of 35 lakh cars . Especially when you look at it in night it looks amazing and any one can fall in love with Virtus tail lights

Actually the oil top up is required at 15 KM as per showroom for new Slavia and Virtus which is very good 👍and even changing of filters also requires minimum of 15k KM
A very well summed up video. One thing I found surprising though was the cost of windshield washer fluid. If they are offering that much quantity for just Rs. 100, that's dirt cheap. The guys at shell charge 130 for 100 ml bottle 🤦♂️. One more thing to add, 2 days ago I was speaking with a known acquaintance at the gym where I work out here in Pune. He's recently booked a Creta. I have asked him to test drive Kushaq/Taigun as well. He wouldn't mind but his father is slightly hesitant to choose them due to the image of Skoda/VW (high maintenance/reliability issues). I have suggested him to see your videos particularly those wherein you and Munishji are having a detailed discussion. Let's hope he can make a wise decision after watching your videos 🤞.
I too have that black nazar battu on the bumper 😁 27 march is my first service. Waise I got the dash cam installed (plug and play not hard wired) and a part replaced for free. Awesome service by service center. Class apart.

Have great respect for VW-Skoda. However, I am buying a primary car for myself. I am a driving enthusiast. The car will be used for 1-2 days of office commute (weekly) and for occasional weekend trips. Want an automatic transmission car which is safe, and will give me a tension free owner experience. I don't have the bandwidth to take it to a service center and get niggles sorted. Rejected creta and seltos (liked them both) but was disappointed by their lack of safety. It is a crime on part of hyundai/kia to use low quality steel in India (whereas they use good steel in other markets) and make less-safe cars. Was left with only Honda City. Thinking of going for CVT-ZX (want an automatic car). The leather upholstry and feel of the car is superb and premium. Want your opinion Sunderdeep-ji, if this is the right choice? Is V-CVT more value for money? Or should I consider something else. For my second car in future, I will definitely consider VW-Skoda family. Thank you Sunderdeep ji for your insightful videos. Windows problem comes back after some days. For me it was fixed brfore but it started troubling again. Last week they fixed it second time. Now, let's see if it is permanent fix.
Anyone can cry how much they want for German cars but they are not gonna flourish in india as indian buyer is very much conservative, secret of how we survived very long and were golden bird at times as we were never interested in liabilities but asset. ❤❤❤❤❤
Great quality video as usual but don't you think the niggles reported should not have been there in the first place? Also, spending a full day at service is too inferior to toyota's 60 min service. I understand these cars are superior but such niggles and slow service should be rectified asap to justify being a big brand.
@@SunderdeepSingh Valid point sir. As a precaution we all must make it to not buy a newly developed model as the first batch. VAG 2.0 cars might be rectified now but If it was me, I would've chosen pre-owned Corolla/Elantra at this price as I believe D segment cars are vastly superior to the C.
Sir do update us about how the new update has affected the AC Performance and the Mileage - Pickup etc of the car after maybe 2-3 weeks whenever possible.
Paaji I think you should also get the dashcam right away. Atleast get it for your Slavia as even your wife drives it. And did you drop the plan of modifying your Polo? Good video btw. Service cost was reasonable too, it's just that VAG should take Indian market more seriously by alloting more cars to India instead of focusing too much on exports.

Sir can you please tell what solution did they propose for driver side power window? I have a 2 month old 1.0L Ambition Classic Kushaq with me which is giving very bad experience with some issues. Brake pad noise on slow speeds. Passenger door rattling noise. AC tripping on slow speeds. Power window not working properly. Too much engine noise on any gear above 2000RPM. Like too much. Can you please suggest how to approach skoda center and seek help and if you can share exactly what they did for power window because as you rightly mentioned it's a security issue. I am a huge fan of yours and munish ji have watche all videos. Got the AC updated still left to check the improve in performance but as far as now it's nothing much it's the same only. When I asked about power window they said an update will soon come for this as well which in my opinion is fake. You can't be troubling your customer everytime with updates considering my AC update took 1 hour. I live in agra sir and though I have no issues with the dealership i just feel a bit disappointed with VW with these niggles every now and then. Can you please answer my question. I'll be grateful. HELLO JI I ABHI FORM AHMEDABAD OWING SKODA KUSHAQ MT SINCE NOV 2022 . COMPLETED 7500KMS GOT MAIL FOR AC UPDATE AND HAVING SOME ISSUE WITH CAR ALSO I VISITED ON 11/3 SAT AT STELLAR AUTO . MY ISSUE WAS CAR NOT GETTING AUTO LOCK AFTER IGNITION OFF & INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM WAS SHOWING COMPONENT PROTECTION ACTIVE . i visited service centre at 11:30am so that before lunch break some work can be completed but due to mismanagement my car was take at 2pm and non of problem was resolved just updated ac and i also opt for horn change that much they did in 6 hours and given my car without washing and also charging for it , washing is always complementary and i said them that i am doctor need to rush my hospital at 5pm but given my car at 5:30 pm .... not happy wait skoda . i am also having ford ecosport also they service ford provide they cant match
@@SunderdeepSingh Done, all issues fixed. Mine is AT, I somehow noticed more smoother gear change, might be due to the change of Engine oil. I assume Software upgrade won't be impacting gear shifts. They did 3 campaigns update: 1. AC 2. Sealant in C Pillar 3. Some wire harness software upgrade
I have style 1.0 AT crystal blue, do you recommend installation of insulation in front bonet? Will it not absorb more heat inside, I heard it is good with only dark colour but not for white or crystal blue, please suggest

I installed Skoda Laura (high tone) and VW polo (low tone). Had to remove the jali as it was not fitting after installation. I got the horns from boodmo and installed it myself. Sound Skodaish, the accessory one doesn’t sound original.
After wheel balancing the rear left wheel of my slavia is little high by .5 inch and its suspension is feeling a bit stiffer than others. I Too am facing rattling in my drivers door and dashboard. I have taken it to service 2-3 times but rattling issue is still there. My experience with skoda and their service has not been good

Wheel Balancing - Is Wheel Balancing included in Service Package and Extended Warranty Package? 3. Gear Knob movement (AT) issue - Im facing an issue where Gear knob gets stuck sometimes and button doesn't get pressed. It automatically gets released after a few seconds. Let me know if you are also facing it.
1 - I have checked the whole day yesterday for the 20-30 KM city drive and it was fine. However, real testing can be done in June-July only. 2 - It is not covered but 50% discount is offered by VW, not sure by Skoda 3 - I am unaware but I will be watchful about it.
If you want a safe car with best performance and fun to drive element go with taigun/kushaq 1.5tsi dsg but make sure to have peace of mind you buy extended warranty of 4+2 years…xuv700 is not a competitor here coz it’s competing with Tata harrier n safari same with hector, but if u want a feature loaded car you can take Astor

See how badly it flexes in Slavia and how well it is fixed in rapid which is clearly indicative of cheap quality of materials used and poor workmanship not to mention the other niggling issues popping now and then . Skoda's and Volkswagen cars have been known for their reliability and peace of mind . What is the fun of buying a car with so many niggling issues ?
How the auto start stop issue was resolved? Facing same issue the engine shuts as soon as the car stops and it becomes impossible to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. Kindly advise

Currently they have option of Jeep Compass but I think VW makes more sense. So, if the car is launched in 3-6 months then they can put the purchase decision on a hold.

I recently got my car painted in VW dealership but the paint was not upto Volkswagen standards and had a lot of dust and pinholes in it . The VW guys were eager to help me out and repainted the panels which had issues in them but still it is not satisfactory.. lots of dust.. They were also saying that there is an issue in the paint system . But i am suffering for this problem..can you suggest me what should I do to rectify the problem?
Get it to a professional detailing centre. They can sand down the paint to remove the dust particles. Although, this is the case with most of the dealerships. You should have got it repainted from some good workshop outside, it would have surely costed more but you would have been really happy with the results.
The price difference is around 2 lacs but top variant gets 6 airbags, leather seats, ventilated seats and some very helpful safety features along with Skoda speakers. Better alloy design and many chrome strips too.
I am owning Taigun and I'm seeing some people enabling some more features like auto Glass up when locking cars. Is this an issue with the car warranty?
It will void the warranty but if done properly these changes will not cause any issue whatsoever. Get it done from the right people and it will be absolutely safe.
Although it does not effect the ECU or any other important components of the car, but if they become aware of these modifications, they will probably void the warranty.
Hello sir , i have bought slavia ambition model from ahmedabad stellar skoda . I have bought 2022 model in feb 2023 so they give me service packages free . When i ask them about service they told me first service will come at 15000 km .And i saw many videos regarding service which is comes at 1000km, 7000 km and then major service at 15000 km.So i want to know is my service provider is right or wrong?
No, these will be general check ups only. Major service is annual or at 15000 kms only which should be free of cost for you snd only alignment will be charged.
Hello Sunderdeep, I have a question - why did you go for service at just 6k KM. Even my annual running is low and I am thinking of getting my slavia serviced when it completes 15k KM even if that takes 1.5 years. Why is it mandatory to get oil changed within a year does the oil have a expiry date? If the car is not being run why to change oils and filters within the year. Please explain this technicality and I shall be highly obliged. Love from Gurgaon.
Oil loses viscosity with time..as it goes through extreme temperatures of winter and summer. Even seal pack Oil will be useless if not used throughout the year. It should be fresh

Thing is, other options are so 3rd grade in the drive quality, paint, AT smoothness, braking, safety ratings & looks that we have to settle with this rather happily. These cars start from 11.50 lacs which are pure gold in 90% of the things as compared to the competition which are either unsafe or have body-roll / rusting / fit n finish issues.
