I heard this in another RU-vid video and spent the afternoon trying to find the unreleased AIC song I missed along the way. Soundtracks, box sets, live shows, etc. It was driving me nuts until I finally asked and was told about these guys. Amazing.

Well first AIC def wasn’t hardcore bud it was straight Seattle grunge music

why? this kid's or guy's voice is awesome (very "Layne-sque"),...but no way is Jerry Cantrell & Co. accepting (in general) a Layne copycat in AIC. ...+ being in a band is also on a personal/artistical level between members. I mean just because a person has an appropriate voice (in this case excellent) for singing AIC songs that doesn't mean he is right for the band. Don't forget he's so young (too young for AIC anyway) and personally I don't want to see/hear a Layne copycat in AIC. Layne Staley was the best...to bring a copycat of Layne in AIC would be so stupid. That would be really disrespectful for Layne...and the real end for AIC.

Not sure if you are still following this post. I visit occasionally because I love the song. The lead singer has his own band these days (not sure if he is still fronting Facelift anymore - Look up Chout if your interested) - The kid got to meet Laynes mom and hang with her a few back. =)

@IbizaIZ I don't want to hear an imitation of Layne. This is the biggest reason why I won't go see AIC with William. I saw them with Layne and after that, there's no going back. I'm happy Jerry & Sean went on after they lost their buddies. I have the utmost respect for Jerry & Sean. But for me, it just isn't Alice without Layne & Starr. Just like Jane's Addiction isn't Jane without Eric Avery. Just like Sabbath wasn't BS without Ozzy. Although I loved Dio with my whole heart. I'm glad Ritchie Blackmore formed Rainbow with Dio & Pantas. I do understand your point. We just have different opinions about this and that's OK.
