I am editing this to elaborate on how to actually do this or atleast how I did it 3 years ago.
After ur skull toss travels it max distance or hits something, it pops up a bit in the air. traveling to it during this point will gain you height, and as long as you hit the ground before traveling to ur skull, you will get your jump back. rinse and repeat.
Once high enough, you can get over the invisible barrier. The door is still active beyond the invisible barrier, you just need to stand in front of it and enter.
I forgot because it was so long ago, but there was another lip I was stuck on and had to move a bit to the left and then the right i believe to get unstuck. Once over the invisible barrier, if you know exactly where ur going, u could get through the door much faster than I did.
There were many places you could do this trick on various areas to get super high or places that were not intended. there very well may be other areas where this could skip or avoid areas or boss fight triggers.
You do teh jumps and the thing and boom there ya go.
