Switch Dog just made a new one. The year is 194X. Everyone plays Big Band at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of the match depends solely on trumpet skill. The trumpet metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches.
+Keitaro Tsurugi You are absolutely right. None of that looks anything like a fighting game, and I totally wasn't making a joke or anything dumb like that.
Big Band- best fighting game character. So much time and thought went into him. He literally can represent the whole game. And his catchphrases and moves are just awesome XD
For those that actually don't know it. The song is called U.N. Owen was Her? from from the Touhou Project and its the theme to the character Flandre Scarlet. So please stop trying to say its something else.

Hate to burst many people's bubbles, but this is a TAS (tool assisted speedrun), meaning that this person's fingers are not actually playing it. I mean, it's possible that someone can, but not so much in this instance. That said, this is still amazing.
Cerulily Nope, not in the slightest. I've been playing piano for nearly a decade. Playing a piano and playing a fightstick are night and day, and it arguably requires MORE dexterity to play Big Band's trumpet because you often have to press two, three, or even four buttons (for hitbox users) to input one note. Now imagine doing that at the speed of this song!
Even after 7 years this game is still great, it really shows how much the creators put their time and effort into it and how invested the players are to use this games potential, I love seeing Bigband players duo to create music. Why not have a fully functioning trumpet for a character based around brass instruments. This is truly impressive, and I think a sequel should be made.
The thing that made it even more bad ass once you think about it was how at the end he fits the 4 notes you have to play to activate the special in there without messing up the song ! AMAZING !!
***** It wasn't manual. The creator used an autoplay tool to assist in the input of the comands to get the timing perfect. Just so you know. They say so in the description.
giving a whole new meaning to "playing Big Band"~ Also i thought he was actually called "dai saksu" in the japanese version. Isn't that implemented yet?
