@@aerinnmay7082 the problem isn’t Sonic is trying to conquer the universe. Sonic is instead trying to capture as many EVO titles as possible to defeat other Sonics in alternate universes.
Big Band is such a unique and great character design. His look and moves involving a ton of musical instruments is awesome. I don't even really know much about Skullgirls but his character is just intriguing.
Commentary is top notch. Makes the match so much better. Great commentators don’t get enough credit, you have to know everything about the game to really be official
greatly appreciated. we'd been commentating all day since pools started at around 10AM that day, so by the time Top 8 started at like 10PM, we were both tired but still hype for our community
Nah dude grand finals was underwhelming. Rewind was playing so well compared to scorpionprocs but he still lost without even resetting cause kabal is busted and rewind didnt change the stage.

Everything about this grand final was perfect. The commentators kept it very interesting. Both sage and sonic played at their best till the very end, it’s so amazing how the tides of certain rounds changed in seconds because of one mistake.

Both of the commentators are friendly with Sonicfox offstage lol, you always wanna root against the villain. That's what's waiting at the top if you're as consistent as Sonicfox
I'm 90% sure sonicfox just sandbags most sets to play to the crowd. Because in a flip of a switch it will go from close sets to him easily tearing through a round.

This Grand Final was absolutely thrilling, but that woman commentator needs to be better. I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with bias but my God, she didn't even try to hide it and it was mega distraction. Was a damn good fight from both of them, but SonicFox is a legend. Kudos.

The commentary from these 2 was bad and biased. Took the air and excitement out of watching a grand final. Sonic would pull some tech or a mixup and it’s crickets or low energy. Dekillsage breathes and you would’ve thought he solved world hunger. Thanks EVO but no thanks to the commentary. Please be better next time commentators.
If u were in person sage was the underdog the whole time too. And the commentary was a little biased bc it was Munoz commentating but never the less it was hype af.
nah you weren’t too harsh. The woman commentator specifically was incredibly bias and distracting. Her voice would lower by like 50% the second sonic fox wasn’t getting mauled, then would scream for absolutely everything dekillsage did.

There can be two stories here: 1. dekillsage pulls of an incredible win against an unbeatable opponent 2. Sonicfox wins again One outcome is incredible, one is predictable and quite frankly, boring... Sonicfox is an incredible player, seeing him wins again and again is amazing, the more he wins, the less the story about him winning is interesting and merits hype
Sage was on the losers side. That's why he needed 3 wins to reset. Sonicfox was on the winners side so they didn't need a reset to win. All they needed was to win 3 and they would be champion. Since Sage got 3 straight wins, with him being on losers side, he reset it so that the field is basically even for them both.
I wish SonicFox would go for the legacy games Street Fighter and Tekken. Im not taking anything away from him, he is a genius and is just beginning. He is young and still got lots of time. But most of the games he won EVO titles in are played exclusively by one region and not contested globally as the legacy titles. Street Fighter and Tekken are the most competitive with the oldest player base of people playing for 20,25 years. And if Sonic puts in the work he can make a mark on these games as well. I think he knows the time he needs to invest and therefor stays on the games he knows. It would be dope to see SonicFox face off against OG legends like Tokido, Daigo, Ryan Hart, Bonchan etc after putting in the work in SF and TKKN.
Sonicfox is interested in sf6. But remember sonicfox used to be the best fighterz player winning an evo title and that's a game that's played globally. Not to mention they got top 8 at a street fighter v major with fang early in the games lifespan
The bracket gets reset, and something I HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE EVER happens, and the camera COMPLETELY MISSES IT by focusing on Dekillsage. STUPID! Sonic REELED BACK. He wasn't all laughs and giggles like... ok ok good shit! He literally REELED BACK IN HIS SEAT! I have NEVER seen him do that before EVER. Even in MKX vs Tekkenmaster he didn't reel back like that!
Sonicfox is Goat winning so many fighting game titles. Will he be able to overcome Tekken ? I don't think he'll manage to win the Tekken title as Tekken is different from all other 2D games as it involves side steps.
I remember having Gears of War 2 and I love that game because of just how brutal it was and I didn't have online, so I played multiplayer on Extreme and I killed that s*** they couldn't f*** with me on Extreme. but when I went to multiplayer eventually I got killed so often...I guess goes to show the AI on games isn't what real people is on ya dig?
This set was sick, but wow that commentator was distractingly biased. She would deflate so hard when Sonic was winning that she wasnt even breaking down the match. Incredibly off energy from the guy who seems to be trying and is at least saying whats happening on screen. Whenever Sonic got a hit she would just trail off.... This set was way too sick tho, sucks that the vid is kinda brought down by that
I would enjoy this time of fighting videogames if they were played at @120hz so I would enjoy the fast moves. That's what keeps me away from playing this games, DBZ, Guilty Gear S. I'll juts keep playing KOF and I'll give it a try to SF6 & TEKKEN. My personal Opinion.
