Yeah, I was sure she would be the next choice. She's pretty popular, and her proposed moveset is amazing. Roxie is nice, too. Though, she was overlooked for a long time.
Say what you want about mortal Kombat 1 and Skullgirls just like other fighting games just like we have takeda and homelander just like how they did it adding the roster
Im not sure how that would work (along with Roxie). Brain Drain has a lot of potential and gadgets to fight with, while Minette is a regular maid at a regular restaurant
@@Crobat7269 well, i assume either they'll be special moves that can be used by any character or when choosing your characters you'll be able to choose one of the guest stars alongside your fighters
@@zernicco with how p2w this game is on mobile, yup, it makes money, specially since people seem to put money in whatever nowadays, even in that half baked game.
@@neonoah3353been playing for a long time and so far I don’t see any p2w elements, it’s just the new characters that are hard to get, but even though getting duplicates can allow you to further improve your fighter.
its not really fully fleshed out when they just exist as a support character so like what at best 2-4 moves only and they're done unlike the playable cast
@@monokomomo4977 just because they exist as a support character for now doesn't mean they can't or won't add things later. It took like 10 years just to get new characters. I don't give up hope on games I like.
I don't know what happened to my other comment I posted here, but just because the characters aren't playable right now doesn't mean they won't be playable later. We waited like 7 years for our first DLC character, don't give up hope on games you like.
@@GabrixXY idc they seem cool I really love them a lot so idc what you say about them I like minette brain drain and Roxie I fell like they deserve a chance to be playable characters cuz I love them
@@GabrixXY well they will be furture playable characters one day you see and hopefully they make it to see season 2 pass and hopefully they make good playable fighters
Dude, not everyone needs to be added to the game as playable characters; some are better off as NPCs or, in this case, assists. The only reason they gave her a moveset and stuff is SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of being a guest star. Just because they figured out how she would work in gameplay doesn't mean she needs to be put on the roster.
@@Muddy-Goldfish72tbh i agree with rose, she was one of the most voted dlc character back then, its about damn time she becomes her own playable character Besides, the first dagonian character will be interesting
@@Muddy-Goldfish72 Then why does the footage look like 2nd Encore? Where is all the cluttered Skullgirls Mobile UI? Where are the missing animation frames?
@@kado-2323When you make the game it's really easy to do things like... remove the U.I. for trailer recordings. And SGM sprites and animations are pretty dang quality. I wouldn't be surprised if they just make them as good as the 2nd Encore ones, then tone them down for optimization later on in actual builds just to save time whenever something makes the transition for mobile to 2nd Encore.
@@Megaman12Protoman14 This path only leads to more questions. If it’s truly that easy, and your theory on how the devs create content for Skullgirls Mobile is true, then why would they bother gatekeeping this content? Do they need more whales to fund 2nd Encore?
Please make controller support in the mobile version or put those characters as DLC on steam. As I want to use physical buttons when playing fighting games about where if I am not precise, quick or do the wrong move the opponents wit😢h get the attack in with me having no defense.
I am disappointed! Minit and Drain, it’s clear, someone was waiting for them! But Roxy is not written well at all! They could have added Taliesin or at least Feng!
@@Muddy-Goldfish72Pretty sure from the get go they've been considering how to potentially implement then in the original game from inception. Just a lot harder to balance and design I imagine than in the mostly single player experience/more limited versus mode SGM has. I could see this being an option for limited assists for people playing a solo character so they can have some extra mixup sauce like duos/trios or something.
i mean it could happen but its gonna take some fucking magic to balance them all since its not a playable character but more support so its more coding to do for them and let alone balancing nightmare and on what resource to use for them
Y'all already have y'all's own version of assists. I don't get why y'all are jealous of Skullgirls mobile for getting something similar. So damn greedy...💀
Something tells those characters are also gonna be in the main PC and console version of Skullgirls after some time, just like Umbrella and the rest who were only available on Skullgirls Mobile
@@sirkinsella9831 i think ya missed the point. I didnt say i wanted to fight porn. I said that the game went through a censorship so marketing towards the place where people care about mostly the fanservice stuff would be hard without putting in more of the things they just censored.
I thought assists would only have one type of attack, cool to see them getting a good amount of variety! Brain Drain looks so cool! And Roxie was a nice surprise. (Holding out on Mecha Molly to still become playable at a some point)
As someone who voted minette way back in the character poll that would choose who would become a dlc character (I think Beowulf won?), this is pretty cathartic.
My favorite thing about this series is that no one is satisfied because there's too many characters that people want to see become playable. RIP Taliesin 😭
