My mini 3 has been chased by seagulls, oystercatchers and crows. Been divebombed by a swallow, hunted by a buzzard. Had a pigeon fly into it and a jackdaw attack it. Ive got some red reflective patches to stick to it once the weather improves, maybe that'll help. It also seems to draw bees to it. I do my best to fly away from birds but they have better eyes than me and just seem drawn to it.
You’ve been through it by the sounds of it! I’ve had a few instances of bird interest. Probably the worst was a Red Kite that tried to take my mini 3 out of the sky about 10m above me!
I had an inquisitive Buzzard last week and as he/she got close it veered off, maybe the noise. We do have two peregrines that nest nearby in Summer so I won't be flying near them or above my garden and as for sparrow hawks, they tend to stay at roof height so easy enough to fly way above them
I guessed you were joking. I’d love the mavic 3 pro. Having the option of three different zooms would be a real asset. It’s a shame that I could only fly that far from people. Are you in the UK or somewhere with less restrictions?
My plan is to fly it like a normal drone through populated areas but at a safe height aka I'm not gonna fly close to ppl... I'm from the u.k... I just got the pilot and i.d licence thingy. Still looking for a deal on a Mavic 3 tho 🙏
