His attacks seem to be a combination of three. His ground smash creates a crack like Crusher, his dash is like Tree Rex, and the aimable cannon is like Bouncer.

Technosaur was supposed to be the Tech giant, being a dinosaur with a machine gun. This idea was scrapped in favor of Bouncer, but was repurposed in Trap Team into Chopper
I would guess that the Trigger-Happy-in-a-Mech's attacks don't actually have coded damage values so when something gets hit by them, the game doesn't know how much HP to take off, gets confused, and crashes.
I'm glad more people get to see these unused and earlier versions, it was so crazy when we were just finding out about stuff like german pop fizz back in 2021
I believe Obscure Gamers, Winner Nombre and Skydude124 were the ones who originally found these builds, so a big thanks to them! There is also a debug Whirlwind, but it doesn't seem to have the required file to actually work on the Wii version. Said this in the video, but I'll repeat it here: Most of these are ONLY in the earliest discovered builds. The early versions of Sprocket, Ninjini, Thumpback and Jet-Vac are replaced with the final versions (of course). Other than that, Sniper is the only one to still be around in the final's files (Plus debug Whirlwind in non-Wii versions). If enough people want, I could upload a video about the early versions of enemies.
Want a reason as to why that red dragon exists for the Drow and Sniper? It's apperantly a prototype design for Spyro in the first game's pre-alpha (actual footage was shown with him from Toys for Bob themselves)! Why it's in the files of Giants is beyond me. Maybe because the alpha that you're playing is still in SSA's engine and all of the old files from that game are still in there, including the proto Spyro design? I dunno.
A lot of these are actually really cool. Would've even prefered some of these over what we got in the final version of the game, were they to have been finished. Thanks for sharing! :D (12:40 Also big funny)
the skylanders with no catchphrase use a sound that may sound familiar to roblox players from the early days as it seems they used the same sound as the roblox copy wand building tool
Still don’t know how to feel about melee Jet Vac tbh While the range is very helpful on his normal counterpart, I don’t know if he’s better off with kick moves that compliment the vaccum
I've tried playing this beta with actual figures and a portal before. The ones that don't instantly error out (even the spyro's adventure figures will mess up for some reason?) only work if they're completely wiped, otherwise the game says there's a problem with the figure like 20 seconds into gameplay. Even if you do wipe the figures, something the beta writes to it eventually just makes them error out again like using a giant to pull that chain island or possibly getting special treasures and hats
I love early thumpback's combos and the idea of combos in Skylanders combat. I know a lot of Skylanders already have their primary attack combo, but I feel like early thumpback's combos could've paved the way for more diverse Skylander combat. Still, I do enjoy combat as it is now, but a little sad they shied away from that concept
ok so gourdian being water element is really odd to me. ive read earlier that it was the prototype name for melee jet vac whilst they were still developing the character; it makes sense for them to be using ignitors model as a placeholder, but the water element choice is very odd, especially since the idea seemed to have started when they realised there was a lack of melee air characters
To make things even stranger, turns out he can be loaded into SSA where he still shows as Water element in game but appears as Magic element in the character stats menu...
Did 102_Rhino eventually become Headrush? Headrush is basically the drow goliath skylander, with her large size and bluer skin than other elves, along with 2 very similar moves.
Can you do all skylanders portal intros or Ko animations no one has done a video on ko animations and I honestly never have seen any really since ur not likely to die on this game in normal
