Skyrim: 5 Hidden and Unmarked Locations You May Have Missed in The Elder Scrolls 5 

I once found the hunter's jacuzzi camp- in werewolf form. The NPCs weren't hostile, but they complained that I was not wearing any clothes. Those are the things I like most about Skyrim.

Similarly to the last entry on this list, I once found an unmarked burning cottage on the far south-east of the map. Inside was a ring of candles and a burnt corpse holding a 'Summon Flame Atronach' scroll. Apparently someone decided that a small flammable wooden house would be a sensible place to try out this spell :P

Damn it, Nate. I'd gone a whole 4 days being productive and staying off Skyrim. Guess there goes my Saturday.

I always like the troll cave you pass on your way to ivarsted with the two dead storkcloaks inside and the letter talking about how it's "probably just some wolves"

I know I'm late to this one, but I thought I'd mention... Clearspring Cave (accessed via a path below Clearspring Tarn) in The Rift. It contains the named Bow Of The Hunt which has the unique enchantment of +20 damage against animals - useful for early Archery levelling. There's also a chest with levelled loot, an Archery skill book, a few fungi (I forget which ones) and some Hanging Moss to collect for use as alchemical ingredients and finally... a levelled Troll; who seemingly won't leave the main area of the cave and so can be (carefully) used over and over for archery practice/levelling up.

Those overgrown Nirnroot also appear in Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion... which also takes place on Solstheim.

The Nirnroot island also has the largest collection of "Pearl Oysters" on its shores. So you can farm Pearls and Nirnroot.

One of The First Things I did while playing as an Altmer was to Visit The Unmarked Talos Shrine and Steal The Thalmor Robes.

I was wondering why the hunters in the jacuzzi were naked in my game and yours didn't, but then i remembered I installed some mods 😂

So.... I kinda stole an item from the Hunters in the thermal waters camp. They went agressive and I killed them. The fun thing is that now every time new hunters spawn they become instantly agressive on sight. As if every generation of hunters to inhabit the thermal holds a deep hatred that expands beyond death and life... Now I can't get there without having to dispose of these guys time and time again.

i was thinking about the dragon attack scene. about how he said “if we dont bother it, it wont bother us”. wouldnt it be cool if you could make peace with the dragons? even bring back the dragon cult? this would require serious main quest remodeling, but would be so worth it. in fact it would be an entirely different game by then. but i would love to see something like this in the future.

I once found a tent on the nothern coast (left from the city in the middle) - at first sight it appeared to be a military tent, but upon closer inspection it looked like some secret lovers hideout.

Where’s the sexy mammoth you can’t just swap it with a mammoth sized chicken and expect me not to notice

Somewhere (can't remember where exactly), you can find a dead Bosmer with some blood leading you to another body, a female Bosmer this time. When I first came across those two, I was doing the quest from Septimus and Herma Mora (the one wgere you need to collect blood from all types of Mers) and I coudn't find any Wood elves to kill so it came just in time.

My favorite place is the “Hot Springs”. Love taking Mjol, Aela or Serana there for some “sparring practice”. 😂

that last one is Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

My daughter has just started playing Skyrim for the first time. She has been playing about 2 hours, and already found two of these! The thalmor/talos battle scene, and the two burnt corpses. I myself have just yesterday found Ilas-Tei's talos shrine/skeeer cage for the first time. (Third time playing the game).

Well I don't know if I should write this here or what, but there is this a bit of a secret with Farengar. If a player is a mage, then when u first walk up to the jarl to tell him about the dragon he later asks u to come with him to see his court wizard. Dash to Farengar first (after talking to the jarl) and, like I said, if u're a mage, then u can convince him to tell u everything without waiting for jarl simply by telling him that he should be careful to not step in the shock rune that he placed. Otherwise that would not be possible. Hope it's something new ^^' And thank u for these great videos. Keep up the good work :)

I've played over the years like something between 5 and 6 hundread hours of Skyrim and I just last week found the Talos worshiping massacre. Although to be fair, after my first playthrough years ago where I tried to do everything I started abusing fast travel and it wasn't up until last year (when I came back to the game and decided to never used fast travel again) that I started rediscovering Skyrim.

I'm glad I'm not the only person still playing Skyrim! I thought for sure The Chill would be on here. I also think another good one is the skeleton at the bottom of the small pool with a weight tied around his leg just outside of Darkwater Pass. You could do a whole video on hidden corpses / death scenes with interesting backstories in Skyrim - there's a BUNCH. I've played through Skyrim completely about 14 times, so I knew about all these, but still fun to revisit. Damn, that game is just so much fun!

I ran through the water the hunters were in as a werewolf and they just started having a casual conversation with me as I walked by.

Up the hill from palegia's farm (i think i spelled it right) is a small clearing littered with mammoth bones, in the clearing there is a freshly killed mammoth. The first time you encounter the place you have to kill a few poachers. That location can also be found during the quest Kyne's trials.

from the shots before you started the countdown i knew i've seen 2 of these, i remember the hunter's jacuzzi from my very 1st playthrough before the dlcs existed and a few weeks ago on my current save with all dlcs i explored the are around lakeview manor and saw the shrine of talos, now i'll try to watch all of your other videos to see what i missed

To good little unmarked locations i remember are: The little canoe by the cliffside in the river South of the cloud Temple near the huge forsworn camp. There are several valuable gems and other loot. The little honeymoon tent on the North coast. Some loot like items but mostly just very cute place to sleep.

Started my first playthrough yesterday and I'm hooked...can't wait too see what's out there in the world of Skyrim...

Right above the honourable mention of the cave. You can go up higher and there is a dead skeleton with like 8 swords in him. it's is also unmarked

don't know if you have covered this, but there is a common known easter egg of the headless horseman that can be found riding at night in whiterun hold. But you can actually find his head if you look through the bars of coffin to the left of the draugr that awakens in the area that the ghost rides to. Next to the skull that is outside of the mentioned coffin, you can see a helmet of the same armor type that the horseman ghost is wearing (for me it was steel plate armor).

I recently started skyrim again for the third time and I'm still learning new things! I've got such dark circles under my eyes because I've been watching your videos and staying up until 6am playing the game hahaha (help)

I'm not sure if you've mentioned it yet but I found an interesting unmarked location while chasing after a glitched quest marker trying to find the dawnguard. It was a little home not too far from the stendar outpost in the southeast that was burned and collapsed on a burnt corpse with a scroll of flame atronach in its hand. Looked like whoever it was didn't know not to summon fire creatures in a wooden home.

Hilariously enough, the first location in the list is the first one I EVER visited when i first played, since i just wandered off to the wilds ignoring ralof. Strangely i could never find it again.

I believe its the mission In My Time Of Need, if you go in the cave and down a passage there is a skeleton reaching for a bottle of mead, also somewhere east of somewhere I believe its near riften, there is a wolf in the cage and if you free it it will be friendly

I’m on legendary Skyrim, and I decided to do less fast travelling in favour of going everywhere on my horse, and I found another burnt out hut. I can’t remember exactly where it is, but it’s in the tundra, somewhere between Morthal, Dawnstar and Heljarchen Hall. I was riding from Windstad Manor to Heljarchen Hall when I found it.

I knew of the first one! I ound it one of my first play throughs, along with Moss Mother Cavern, and make a trip to both when I start a new adventure, the Thalmor carries a random enchanted item lol

when i started skyrim i spent a lot of time checking out the colors and the detail of the hot springs.

Got a like just for the giant chicken and 70's vibin tune at the end! lol

skyrims so sick ill never get sick of it ay cheers nate awesome work.. try playing survival mode no hud so good!
