In this video I’m going to be showcasing how much money your character can make with the East Empire Expansion, and it is a lot! If you don’t know what the East Empire Expansion is, it was one of the first round of paid Creations mods which was added in December 2023 and it adds some much needed love to the EEC! With your help, expand the East Empire Company’s presence in Skyrim, and in return they provide you with tools to help during your adventuring. I reviewed this mod 2 months ago and I rated it high amongst the Creations additions. It synergises really well with the base game, and the voice acting is some of the best I have seen from mods in Skyrim. This second time round see what the EEC can really do for you!

I bought this Creation mod day 1 and while it was a bit buggy at first I love how it's integrated into the game and Everything flows naturally unlike a lot of CC content that hit you with a quest notice (at least before updates). Sure some of the outpost markers after claiming an area could be placed better but I genuinely like being able to get clear out and claim outposts. The hold quests could be a bit better because the hints for gaining favor for a hold are a bit unclear. Overall I really like this Creation. My favorite part is that not only can you gain resources or money after a location is claimed the imperial guard will help you fight if the player is being attacked near a claimed location

Yeah I agree 100%. What is also amusing is when NPCs respawn in locations you've cleared and claimed. I returned to one of the giants sites to find new giants attacking the EEC guards 😂

Excellent video, so many previously forever stored unsellable crafted items can now be sold, if nothing else it'll clear the inventory. One great bonus is zero speech leveling, meaning you can stop your character missing out on training as they never double or triple level. Great content

Haha yeah lots of Skyrim played over the last few nights 😅. I don't have any saves on my PC that have large swathes of the map completed, so I wasn't able to reach the point you got to where you are summoned to Solitude to get the final reward

@@mike-thegamingdad Oh yes, I forgot about that. You might find it worth trying though. You'll get a reward at the end of the quest and I think this reward is based on how well you've done it. I mean, I remember I only had the amount of necessary outposts to level 2. Something tells me that if you get all of the to level 3 instead (that's the highest, right?) your reward might be higher. If you like I can say what I got, but I don't know if you want spoilers.

@@mike-thegamingdad Ok. :) You'll be invited on a boat docked at the Solitude docks where you'll be rewarded for your efforts with a necklace. When you click on that necklace in your inventory you get a choice to increase one of your main stats: Magicka, Health, or Stamina by a certain amount. I thought I scored 70. And I say scored because there was something in the dialogue of the gifter (who had great voice acting like the rest of the characters from this mod) that makes me think I could get a better reward. Increasing one stat with only 70 is not much after all. You and I both know we can and will enchant better. So that makes me think that if you'd hit the maximum level of your outposts you make get an improved version of the Gauldur Amulet. I could try since I'm a gamer to. But I'm no dad. And something tells me that this is better suited for a gaming dad. If only I knew one... :)

@Leto85 haha sounds interested, it may need to be one that I do on my let's play save once I've done most of the questlines then. I'll have lots of areas done that way and can probably get to it quicker than trying to clear most of the skyrim map from the start 🤣

Thanks Kirk I appreciate it 😁 yeah it seems to have grown quickly in the last few months. Hit 10k end of December. I think FO4 has brought a lot of new subs in which is nice to see as my last few games I tried (Starfield and The Last Of Us) were a bit of a flop even though I had high hopes for them

@mike-thegamingdad yeah it doesn't look like any channel is doing well with starfield or last of us videos, even eso's's videos haven't got as many views, 🤔 I think its just because it still feels too new to alot of players so they're trying to muddle through it, I don't doubt you'll be at 20k by December this year 😉 🥳🥳

Honestly, this save was a dragon nightmare, I've never been attacked as much as I have on this. Winterhold, Falkreath and Goldenhills seemed to be the hotspots. Oh and quite a few in Ravenrock as well - those ones are always a pain as they land in the most awkward of places, like outside the walls or up hills

@@mike-thegamingdad Goldenhills, really? Oh, that's a nightmare, especially if your hired farmhands are not essential. Now I think of it, there is of couse dragon murial south of Rorikstead. It's an open plain there so that makes it even worse. In my test-file I had abandoned the main quest early on so I had no dragon encounter whatshowever.

@Leto85 I think your method is the best, pre-Dragon Rising its peaceful and bliss. After that point, carnage 🤣. But yeah the plains around Goldenhills were littered with dragon skeletons. I reloaded an earlier save point during filming as one of the skeletons was in the plantation, and it made farming really difficult. So after that point I learnt if you get attacked at Goldenhills, run away from the farm and face the dragons out in the open 😅

@@mike-thegamingdad By the gods, that would be hilarious to see I bet! And your system could handle all those bones laying around? I mean since the new engine in the Special Edition I would say yes we can, but my computer is older than Skyrim itself so I'm afraid to try.

@Leto85 yeah it seemed to be coping just fine, there was one vibrating skeleton that was half clipped into the terrain. But I mean to veteran players of Skyrim that is nothing 🤣 that's just the norm haha I've only ever had one actual freeze due to too many items in the map and that was when I stole all of the sweet rolls and stored them in Breezehome. Eventually it kind of broke Skyrim

Dunmer Shoes also can take Fortify Smithing and there are two pairs on Solstheim, one of which you can get when dealing with Severin family

Great video, very informative. I have one question though, Is there a way to increase the cut percentage to be more than 10%?

I'm sure I saw something about your cut increasing as the EEC grows its presence, it was either in the description or possibly Sha'khar says it in game, but I've not noticed that 10% change myself, even once all outposts are maxed. It could be that I've just not got that far yet because there are elements to this mod even I've not reached yet. I'm told by someone who did their own testing that eventually you get summoned to Solitude to receive a final prize from the EEE, as thanks for your services. I've not had that yet, I believe I need to clear and claim more locations across Skyrim for that to take effect, so I'd have to see if the cut % also increases as well

When I train Alchemy, I obviously also use Goldenhills. I plan 20 Mora, 12 scally, 12 creep clusters. They make pretty expensive potion also.

Yeah thats the potion I used to use, funnily enough I used it in a lot of earlier videos but I used to get a lot of comments around the difficulty in picking creep cluster. So I switched to this example

To answer your question at the end of the video of wvsf you need this money for: fair point. You're now in the 1% group where you find power is boring because you've got nothing to spend it on. I did spend these millions on training. As in saving time to raise skills pouring millions into it is one strategy to 'win this game.' I like it that we can do this now. I'd like if evdn more if we could actually spend it in a Monopoly kind of way: buying and renting out properties for example. Or buying land titles and rise through the ranks of some organisation.

Yeah training is certainly a good use of it, but I also like the idea of becoming a land owner/property owner. Maybe we could buy Chillfurrow Farm off Nazeem...

Oh that's rubbish I'm sorry to hear that, I'm guessing it'll be because it contains external assets and Sony have never allowed 3rd party content on their platform or their network, they say it's for "Security" reasons but even though Bethesda has verified these creators Sony still say no 👎🏻😪

When making enchanting suit, why are you neglecting The Sallow Regent Black Book? You would need to do your enchanting in Severin Manor though. But switching between Seeker of Sorcery and Seeker of Shadow help quite a bit.

In truth on this save, laziness, as it requires quite a few more steps to get. I think you have to do the horn of Jurgen Windcaller which spawns the Dragonborn questline NPCs. And then there's a few more quests on Solstheim if I remember. But you are correct flicking between those two powers would allow an additional 10% each time 👍

@@mike-thegamingdad no, you can go to Solstheim anytime, just pay 250 to the captain in Windhelm. The barrow is also not quest-locked.

My one gripe about the mod is they explicitly state that most of the profits will go to you if you deliver it to them to sell. I’ve brought a little over 19,000 gold of shit and was only given 5,000 gold. Straight up scam

Yeah you still only get a % of it sadly, I've made them millions 🤣
