I know that in the olden days, particularly gruesome murder cases they would bind the court proceedings and records in leather made from the tanned hide of the executed criminal. There's a particularly infamous case called The Red Barn Murder, which featured a murderer who had my same name, which took part in this practice.

You can, but not much from a hawk. Smaller birds like that only the feet are (rarely) used to make leather. Giant birds like ostriches can be made into leather though... but I don't think there are many ostriches in Skyrim.

As you flew over the wall by the Skyforge in the low res city, you can land under the floor texture and find a chest full of everything you could ever need and stacks of gold. Todd Howard left it there on purpose because “it just works”

It’s the merchant chest. The merchant inventory is normally unlootable because it’s not on the merchant (or their corpse), but instead is drawn from the merchant chest - a real in-game chest that is simply hidden from the player in normal circumstances

Yeah, that's the only physical chest you can find but there's three others but they are completely invisible and only appear when the kajiit merchants are outside the correct areas. They're easy ways to get tons of gold and such early on.

You actually have no idea how needed this was for me...in fact neither did I. October of this year we lost our 17.5 year old cat Kipper to a tumour. We sent you a picture a couple of years ago of him staring at my laptop because he kept thinking you were saying his name/talking to him whenever you played this save of Skyrim. Makes me feel sort of close to him and happy, but also incredibly sad. I'm glad you posted this

This was an incredibly hard Christmas for me(not going to go on about it again). I loved the challenges this year but was sad that my absolute favorite character EVER was not there.
