Skyrim Downgrade Patcher Usage 

Hey, I downloaded this, logged in, but it doesn't seem to work. The Login button stays active, the Logout and Start Downloading buttons are inactive, even if I select the Skyrim folder and the version I want to downgrade to. I also tried the old method of downgrading, but the Best of Both Worlds causes my game to crash on the Bethesda logo (not even after, just in the middle of it) and the Full version stops responding on the Misc.bsa file. I let it run for 30 mins, it used some CPU (12-13% of my Ryzen 1600X). I do not have any mods installed at this time, not even SKSE. The logs displayed are as follows: Started USSEDP Setting token steam-login Attempting login Connected to Steam, logging in Account is SteamGuard protected Logged out Got request for Auth Code Attempting login Connected to Steam, logging in Logged into Steam Steam has provided game information

Bought Skyrim on PC a week ago and decided to dip my toes into modding a bit more, little did I know I was willingly throwing myself into the middle of the Modpocalypse so I thank you for this tool very much. I went the fresh install route and It took a few tries, but in the end I got er figured. Thank you

How the fuck they did not do this update as optianal? This is beyond my understanding. I am literally cursing 30 mins straight to Bethasda here. This is just insane. Thank you for your work.

i followed every step as shown in the video but it doesnt allow me to click download in the patcher, therefore I cannot download the older files of the game

Sadly, I login and get nothing back. I select the version, game directory, but I do not get the steam token message. This prevents me from Start Downloading.

This was an easy fix and I thank you for this a lot. I can finally play with SKSE64 now. I only wished Bethesda didn’t mess everything up, then none of our headaches would be necessary

"FullPatcher_1.6.1130.0-1.6.640.0.exe" is broken or corrupt. It crashes entirely part-way through. I've downloaded it several times and it keeps happening at around the same point. This is one of two files on your list that are the only route to downgrading to version 1.6.353.0 effectively. I pretty much can't play now as this is the version I use (it seems the best/most stable of both the old and the new versions). FYI Your new downloader (this video), although a great idea, also has issues. It logs into Steam, then never allows a download to be started, of any version, regardless of correct settings. So I'm pretty stuck without help. Could you help?

Thanks for doing this. If I can get my game to work I fully intend to donate to support your work. So far no luck. Goes through the process, but after saying retry 4 times no changes occur. No blue bars, nothing.

Tried it today since the most recent update to skyrim completely borked my modlist. seemed great logged in followed the tutorial here and it didn't work. I got the error below. Was there an update that no longer requires logging into Steam? I downloaded the full patcher today and it looks much different than shown in the video. All it asks for is the game location and there is one button to start patching.

I get (unauthorized) waiting...400ms and so on. Then it locked me out after several failed attempts. Confirmed correct password and it shows I am logged in. Restarted app several times but still no go. It also asked for an authorization to login and again when I click start downloading.

Sadly doesnt work at all, i do as instructed and the start downloading butting remains grey instead of green. And it does not communicate with steam as said.

I need a little help, for some reason the patcher doesn't seem to be working I keep getting unauthorized a bunch of times then says 401 unauthorized

Does the patcher have to stay open in the background for each play session? Or is this a one time thing that opens automatically when skyrim starts?

okay but how did you get the window on the left open you didnt explain that. I downloaded the ussedp and it doesnt work downloading it to mo2 so i did it manually so do i have to run it, open it????

Thank you very much for this it helped me In so many ways but AE wont let me go so easily. My game CTD's when I try to save since the AE update, everything else is downgraded and taken care of and I cant figure out why. Any suggestions or hints would help out a lot cheers.

Do I need the full patcher for mods with older dlls to work or is best of both worlds enough?

for whatever reason the patcher I downloaded, from the link provided in the description of this video, doesnt have a login/password field at all and instead of having USSEDP in the upper left it has SkyrimCK Downgrade Patcher. How do I get the USSEDP version? I cant seem to find it anywhere. Or what did I do incorrectly and how can I fix it?

I have a problem using this. Whenever I use it, I can't find my Skyrim.exe file for whatever reason. I can find it regularly if I search through my folders, but when I click "search folder" as indicated with your application, the .exe file is just not there.

This whole process has made me relive the boom headshot guys rage. A problem at literally every turn.

I downloaded skyrim se with ur downloader, now how I run it bc now steam is asking me to install it lol, or I can just install the script extender and run it through there?

Had to do a clean install of my skyrim because I fucked something up and couldn't fix it, and I forgot to backup the .exe before doing so. This saved my ass man!

well I am pretty good with stuff with stuff like this but I cannot get it to work. It comes back saying exception unauthorized. I have restarted and ran the app 20 times. I used the previous full patcher in the past but have no access to that any longer, anyway it's outdated. I actually removed the file that allowed Steam to update my Skyrim and it ran fine for years but somehow Steam just put the file back today and downloaded the new Skyrim without my permission. essentially ruining my game mods and saves

My downgrade patcher doesn't look like the one in this video and when I click select folder it just keeps saying, "Looking for Skyrim Special Edition."

It's not working for me. I got to the part where it was downloading the downgrade but it fails halfway through. Once it starts messing with sound files it just hangs there and I have to start over. It hangs there every time

I highly recommend users back up your entire skyrim se folder before using these tools. To avoid reinstalls and potential difficulties I ran into from not backing up my files first..

watched you whole video problem i finally got it to run it came up with just wanting to be pointed at the skyrim directory which I did but it did not up date anything but the exe which caused me to down grade some of the programs on my on notably PapyrusUtil SE and its extended then it ran but crashed before even showing me the logo any ideas?

There is a "Patch353to342" that I used, and now I can not use the Fullpatcher because the fullpatcher cannot do 342 files only 353. What do I do now? Do I need to verify the integrity of my skyrim se file??

Ok... I cannot get HDT hair physics to work no matter what i do. Ive used the patcher, both versions. Well actually this version wont work for either. Ive used every combination of SKSE and every combination of race menu and all possible versions of skyrim SE and AE. I am at my wits end. Please... PLEASE help with your wizardry!

how do i go back to the recent update now that skse has finally updated i thought i updated through steam but its giving me an error that says you are using skyrim version 1.6.353, which is out of date and incompatible with this version of skse64 (2.2.2). update to the latest version

I logged in to this program, have Skyrim installed and I selected thre Skyrim Special Edition folder but the "Start Downloading" button is still grayed out... I did everything like in the video, whats wrong?

Not sure if you read the comments sections on your mods but "Best of Both" downgrade patcher is fundamentally broken theres somehing wrong with the strings files the horse armor dialogue doesn't show up (blacksmith) for one and possibly others but that one for sure. Other people have reported script and quest errors/not starting/starting at wrong level but I can't vouch for those.

I have followed all instructions and have the latest version of skyrim, when I go to download 1.5.97 the start downloading button is greyed out.

Not sure if its just me but I successfully downgraded to 1.5.97 using "best to both" and started lightly modding. installed SKYUI but it wont register R to compete character creation R=Done but it won't do anything. so I'm stuck in racemenu not able to progress anyone have this problem?

Could you do one to downgrade from 1170 please, I have 1.6.640.0 and bought the Anniversary which took me to 1130, so I have save on my computer a backup of 1.6.640.0 I want this one again.

Used the Downgrade Patcher to patch to version 1.5.97, opened the game without any other mods, got a CTD when waiting

When I downgrade and apply the version of skse, I try to run the game but get a message saying "Failed to locate address library with the path: Data/SKSE/Plugins/versionlib-1-5-97-0.bin, this means you are missing to the address library for this specific version of the game" anyone have any idea what this means or how to fix it, since I'm using the same tools as before the AE and it worked then
