As soon as I downloaded this and went to river wood, it had the sound of pouring rain. It was barely visible sprinkling rain. Killed it for me right there

It’s decent. I still love Cathedral weather and seasons though. You can stack the color enhancements which is pretty sweet as well. Divine Atmosphere is also sweet if you’re into the whole fantasy vibe. Keep the videos coming man! Most appreciated.

Karl Es Yep. It all has that Obsidian base so the potential for color alteration is extremely close. IMO cathedral has a bit of a wider view though. A little wide range of potential adjustment if you will.

@@donaldg5633 do you know if cathedral is compatible with the graphic packs landscapes / rustic lands and nordic snow, I think skeletor once wrote that the snow isn't Compatible but he removed it from the description

Karl Es Yep. I’m using cathedral Weathers with graphics pack right now. I don’t use the landscape add on though because I use cathedral landscapes as well. It works fine with the landscape mod of your choice though. As long as it doesn’t do exterior lighting or weather changes you’re golden.

The problem I have with kynes and obsidian is that it seems to overwrite itself and cause strange polygon like clouds in places and an octogon pattern directly above in the sky (im on ps4). Dont know why this is the case but to me is immersion breaking. Also "true storms" is not available on ps4 making the load order not totally possible to integrate. One more thing is the "kyne's noctem" that is very ambiguous in the description as to whether or not it's better to have the other mods like obsidian and wander like the original mod required. Just the othermods on the kynes weather and seasons original mod list i assume... I have no idea really though honestly! So ive had to play with a bunch of different weather mods and combining them and so many vonflict in different little areas that you dont notice until a specific weather pops up and bam! IMMERSION KILLING BUG! I wish there was someone who understood mod conflicts a little more or was honest about it as it seems obbious to me that there is some conflicting results with obsidian and vanilla sky patterns where the octagon effect is visible. Im currently simply running NLA alone without anything except "epic consol graphics" from ia92 and it works beautifully. Except the darker night are gone now 😥 which for my vampire character was reallt nice but u just cant stand the octogon polygon shit!

One thing I don’t like about obsidian weathers is that when you don’t move your character the trees become lighter than when you are moving. Is there a way you get rid of that problem?

You have to reduce the sharpness setting on your TV. That fixed it for me.

You didn't like Kyne’s Weather? Any reason to ditch it? I am about to start a new game play with obsidian weathers when I stumbled upon this mod. Now, I am confused- should I go with Obsidian or try this.

@@chetanmalondkar2548 go with this or cathedral weathers over obsidian in my opinion. Obsidian is just natural lighting that is waaaay to bright in my opinion

I'm with you on this one, my main issue with the mod is its' inconsistent quality. Some weather and lightning effects (Mainly the Obsidian inspired ones) are incredible and blew me away, but others were genuinely horrible. One example was a blurry, pastel-like sunrise effect I had in Markarth that looked stuck on and actually remained in the sky for the entire day. Some seasonal variations are better than others, often I found daylight effects were too bright and flushed for my liking. I often hoped for snow and rain to come and improve the scenery. It's a shame but it again demonstrates that quantity doesn't always equal quality, I swiftly went back to Mythical Ages and haven't looked back.

@@MrNovember41 mythical ages is beautifull. I usually differ from mythical ages, cathedral weathers and seasons, rustic and sometimes scandinavian weather and seasons. Been running with mythical the last 2 months now in all my orders😅 it just goes so beautiful with the tamrielic textures 1: landscapes and the clevercharffs town mods and noble for the rest that i fall in love everytime i enter a new area

I just downloaded this on PS4 so to be clear having this in means I don't need to have Wander enabled anymore? Because it has Obsidian, Wander, and etc already in it? Or it just compatible with those?

I don't think you would need the mods included in Kyne's weathers, so I would uninstall those. Running Kyne's along with the mods it includes could cause problems.
