I cant decide between Obsidian and NAT but i actually am really impressed by Northern Saga. looked fruity in the right conditions but also epic and grim in others. Might try that out too

SSE improved greatly on weather over Skyrim. I don't understand why people claim that there isn't any difference between the game.

I believe people say they don't see any differences mostly because some changes aren't really noticeable unless you were really looking for them, or doing a side by side comparison. To me I noticed some of the changes quickly and even went back to compare which shows that Skyrim SE beats Oldrim in many ways.

@@vengefultv5310 Agreed. Tbh, SSE looks like Oldrim with an ENB. An early one for sure, maybe a mix between RealVision and Megatherium, but it's definitely a huge improvement on nearly everything. Even the water is like an early build of Pure Waters. A vanilla plus load order for me no longer requires complete weather overhauls.

Man, this is hard. I installed all my mods for NAT, but after looking at this I feel like NAT might be too gloomy at some parts. The only place that I preferred NAT was the first comparison in the woods. After that, everywhere else NAT seemed too gloomy almost. Aequinoctium seems like a very interesting option. I feel like I could enjoy scenery more with that weather mod. Btw, nice video, subbed ;)

I'm actually puzzled by this. I know I don't have the greatest eyesight. But while watching this, Vanilla, COT and Obsidian looked identical. Anyone else get that impression? Anyway, it's a great video and I'm happy you just focused on weather mods. Not weather mods + 100 other mods. Thanks much Digital Dreams

Dolomite is bright and clear if you put ENB to crank up the contrast and SSAO it will look gorgeous.

Climates of Tamriel seems to be nearly the Same as Vanilla in your Video. I miss some Comparisons in night conditions or rain or snowfall or sundawn/-rise. But for a first impression it is well done.

The two that I like aren't available for PS4. 😭 I like Dolomite and Rustic, but both seem too foggy and dark at times.. I'd like to actually be able to see.

IMO, vanilla looks the best. Some mods remove too much from vanilla rather than simply enhance it. I think a lot of people become awestruck by the clarity when all of the fog and haze is removed, but that's atmosphere being taken away.

Vanilla have Volumetric Lighting but the other weather mod the Volumetric Lighting seems not visible

I think it mainly adds weathers, rather than editing the ones that already exists.

I like the idea of Northern Saga but I absolutely cannot stand that disgusting yellow filter in warmer weathers. If there were a way to prevent that from happening in my opinion it's one of the best looking mods out there. To be fair they're all pretty nice though, it's really just a matter of preference but to me Northern Saga nails that dreary cold nordic look very exceptionally.
