I think it actually looks better than the switch version, its definitely better than the ps3 version, however if you ever played it on 360 and switch you would know that the load times on 360 could be several minutes and on switch its usually less than 30 seconds lol
it really is a handhelp home console. gone are the days of needing a crappy portible version of a game to let all consoles play. get a switch and its a twofer! I still only have zelda tho XD
VoltaireSurge I've only got 4 games myself (Odyssey, Rabbids, Monster Hunter, and Sonic Mania) but the library is gonna explode with massive games (both in size and popularity) real soon. Xenoblade has all my attention right now :D
you are very odd. but they pt too much focus on freedom rather than good solid features and worldbuilding and story. It feels like it wanted to be both an rpg and a survival/mindcraft game and a zelda game. and it overall leaves the overall lacking though. AC Origins though... mmm-mmm masterful game.
Yeah it is pretty impressive for something the handheld i am having a bit of problems tho such as going down to low framerate when a bunch of magic effects are happening
KZkaizer I mean that's more likely due to skyrim being skyrim (or Bethesda being arse at developing) I mean look at anything they released from fallout and the elder scrolls for ps3 they ran like ass especially the fallouts my god.
It's actually pretty impressive how much more similar the Switch version is to the Ps4 and Xbox One versions than the Ps3 and Xbox 360 versions. Clearly, they didn't just lazily port in the game from the last generation, they actually reworked the newer versions to the Switch's slightly weaker hardware and it looks much better in just about every aspect from the previous gen consoles. Given it's a handheld, that's pretty awesome.
@@daddykarlmarx6183 disagree, I could see many moments when the switch beat the 360. Take the water at the river scenes and the axe head for example. 360 had the worst axe head with the ps3 beating it and the switch beating the ps3. And the switch water being similar to the updated ps4 version they had rather than the generic low poly former gen systems that were limited. The switch clearly basically grabbed the ps4 version, weakened it down texture wise only a little to get it to run and then reduced the resolution from the ps4's 1080 to the switch 720p hence why its resolution is so similar to the ps3/x360's 720p displays.

FerrariKangaroo Perhaps because Switch will be built in. It's screen upraded to 1440p used for washmachine functions and playing built in Skyrim. Just Skyrim since there will be no room for anything else after 1440p upgrade.😝
I grew up playing this game on PS3 and I loved it so much I really didn't care about the graphics. It's all about the gameplay and storyline, what an amazing game.
What a great video! I've tried to find videos similar to this for different games and remastered movies before, but this is the best one I've come across. I think the PS4 version looks the best overall, maybe unsurprisingly.
Already planed on buying the game, was sold only after moment 00:22. Seeing that much movement in the background trees is enough to let me know I'll enjoy it on the go.
Wow i didnt realize there was such a big difference between the 360 and ps3 versions. I guess that was back when devs had trouble optimizing for ps3 lol
Ahhh the ps3 version. I guess I was one of the lucky ones as I got around 200 hours in with zero bugs and glitches, but past that point was when the framerate got noticeably worse, and load times got considerably longer, sometimes even infinite. Bethesda really should of just had 2k do the ps3 version of skyrim like they did for oblivion, or at least out source it to someone who actually knows how to code for ps3.
Switch version is between the last and new negeration, that's all we need, and portable... :"D But there´s no all versions,, PS VR is missing... For those who haven't played, this game is great. in all versions.
Its actually no wonder, this game came out on a consoles with only 0,24 teraflops( Xbox360) the Switch has 1,0 teraflop thats only 0,3 teraflops weaker than an normal Xbox One. ^^

I think I’m going to get the PS4 version. I own the switch and PS4, and I don’t care too much about Skyrim on the go because I rarely use it outside, and the PS4 looks a little nicer too.
My question is why is the XBox 360 version (0:11) vs the PS4 version so massively different? The Xbox 360 version even has a giant mountain in the background and the PS4 version (0:34) doesn’t, along with the XBox 360 version having higher contrast and completely different water. I understand in different systems it might look slightly different but I don’t understand how or why there is such a completely massive difference. Can someone explain why this is?
I don't see much change between these. I mean, I can tell they're different, but I have no idea which I would call "better." I started playing when it came out on Switch, and then more recently I started playing on PS4. I like both equally.

The n I ntendo switch I'd essentially as powerful as the 360 or ps4. I remember getting home from gamestop with a new 360 game and being in shock of how good the graphics were. Now these graphics can be displayed on a handheld system which is insanity
Además por unas imágenes recortadas no se puede saber qué tan bien va el juego, y además la diferencia entre las consolas de nueva generación es minima.
No se si seré el único pero en ocasiones veo mucho mejor la versión para Xbox 360 que las demás... Superada algunas veces por las de PC... Pero con respecto a las demás consolas la siento superior.
In the last update they disabled the volumetric lighting, and now it looks very similar to the Playstation 3 version, however if you have the Nintendo Switch jailbroken, you can modify the Skyrim.ini to activate it again and it looks much better.

The clips of the PC 2011 version look better than the PC 2016 remaster. Both are the best of the bunch here, just curious that the OG version looks better.
Switch version have less Details than the PS4 and Xbox One versions , like drawn distance and grass density . Watch on TV in 1080p this video and you will see the difference .

:o very interesting, I think the Switch version, these were my impressions after looking at this video: PC 2016 > PS4 > PC 2011 > X Box One > Switch > X Box 360 > PS3 With the biggest gaps between PC 2011 and XBox One, and between Switch and XBox 360 It was unexpected to see PC 2011 so high in the rank and perceiving a larger difference between PS4 and XBox One than between XBox One and Switch. Of course it's different for each footage, but that were my overall impressions. (BTW I was expecting PC 2016 > PS4 > X Box One > Switch > PC 2011 > X Box 360 > PS3 and without big difference between PS4 and X Box One).
I just bought Skyrim for the 50th time!! i bought it for the switch this time and even though in this video, it does look better than xbox 360 but has a lower resolution, i have been playing it for 7 days now on handheld and it look pretty much the same as ps4, i has good graphics, and on the Nintendo Switch Lite with the smaller screen, the pixel density is a lot bigger and it makes it look like its 1080p so YAY!!!

Pues te voy a ser sincero, no sé de qué peor versión estás hablando. En el vídeo claramente se que lo único malo que tiene Ps3 son los árboles cuyas hojas son diferentes a 360. Por otro lado, PS3 presenta mayor calidad de texturas en las armas.
If we're being honest, when it comes to Skyrim it's the performance that will count not the graphics, unless you mod it the special edition doesn't look that much different than the original.
So basically, in order of visual quality, we have: 1. PC 2016 2. PS4 3. Xbox One 4. PC 2011 5. Switch 6. Xbox 360 7. PS3 Not much of a surprise. The only thing that surprised me was how much worse the PS3 version looks in comparison to the Xbox 360.

I never realized how grey the original versions of Oldrim were till i got my hands on the special edition. Even more so after modding it with graphics mods

Other than resolution the Switch version seems pretty close to the PC 2011 version. But back in 2011 there weren't that many pc's that we're gonna run the game in 1080p, so I guess it's about the same.
Mobile version is too expensive to even play. You would need the newest Iphone, about 1000+ Euro's. Battery life probably less than 2 hours. Not worth it.
Switch esta entre el medio de ps3 y ps4. Pero la realidad es que cuando este en handheld se debe de ver mucho mejor ya que la pantalla es mucho mas pequena. 6" comparado a un televisor de 40-50"
Yo tengo ps3 y xbox 360 y ahora ps4 sobre la generación pasada los juegos se veían por lejos superior en xbox 360 que en ps3 por ejemplo en esta ocasión con skyrim
Eso no es así Jesser como te han querido contar algunos medios de prensa que era lo que vendian por aquel entonces porque así sony quería demostrarlo, pero la realidad es que XBOX 360 es una consola más preparada para videojuegos y por tanto los resultados dados eran mejores en todos los aspectos, Videojuegos como Halo 4 y entre otros demuestran el potencial que aguarda, en ps3 de nada vale vender una cpu cell si luego la GPU y la ram están muy limitadas, todo eso dejó a la ps3 por debajo de X360, porque en teoría al principio cuando presentaron la maquina todos magnificaban sus capacidades, y cuando tuvieron que meter la tijera en componentes y se redujo su potencia, la CPU quedó limitada por culpa de esos recortes, y a lo que resultados prácticos, dejaron una consola que le costaba moverse en sus videojuegos, la GPU xenos es superior al nvidia que monta PS3, es capaz de realizar cálculos por hardware que el otro no puede, y por eso tu en los exclusivos de sony, se hace mucho uso de CPU para mostrar imágenes prerenderizadas de muy alta calidad, como las que vemos en videojuegos como los de naughty dog y god of war, para mostrar ese músculo que es capaz de ofrecer el chip Cell.
Azules88 Si, pero de hecho en algunos juegos q usaban mas cpu que gpu podría hacer mejor en ps3 que xbox360, pero muchos desarrolladores de juegos no quisieron quebrarse la cabeza con la arquitectura de el cpu de ps3, y pues xbox360 era mas facil cual hizo q se mirara y corriera mejor casi todo el tiempo, aun así creo q fueron unas grandes consolas y eso q las dos tenían una ram de 512mb si en verdad hubiesen tenido 2gb o 4gb de ram hubiesen hecho mas mejor trabajo.

Ignore the fact you can adjust the graphics on PC. You can make it less detailed, or you can make it extremely detailed. Cam adjust it so I looks the best that your pc can handle. Or dumb it down so it runs at max speed.
