Caught you on Project Herpoculture. Great interview! You and I have similar backgrounda and very similar aspirations, however I'm at least a decade older. Less work, more vivariums is a great way to sunset life. Keep up the great work!

This channel is so cool and amazing and I love all the amazing builds you create, they are so intricate and detailed and inspire me to do stuff like this. I don't really know any other channels like this, especially dedicated to one of my favourite animals, salamanders. Keep up the amazing work and the beautiful builds!

Awesome build man, i love it. I would never have thought that the northern reds liked to climb so much. Being in Pseudotriton (mud salamanders) .VS. Aneides (climbing salamanders)

Thank you! Yeah, I think in the wild, you typically wouldn’t see, although I’ve found them under debris in overhangs near seeps. I have observed them (in captivity), climbing all over, and am guessing they are just trying to take advantage of the amount of space within the enclosures

Cool! Hey I made wild life pond outside which was going well until the tadpoles moved out and now there’s mosquito larva. I want to put eastern newts in it but should I buy them online or catch them in the wild?

Thanks! I would see if anyone has any that they are breeding or re-homing before collecting in the wild. Also, make sure (I don’t know where you have the pond) they are native to your state, because if they are not then they shouldn’t be within that ecosystem outside. I’m guessing they do live where you are located, so in that case shouldn’t be a problem.

Overall,……Many from breeders including Indoor Ecosystems. Several were re-homed and a few collected as larva legally from the wild.

You could I guess. I don’t, but if researched and conditions are similar for habitat, assuming all animals disease free etc. I don’t cohabitate or really keep any frogs, so I’m not really sure
