If you never saw Slade live you missed something fantastic, you name any top band from the late 60s to today i have seen all of them, but live nobody came close to Slade, best live band ever.
This was such a treat, and I hunger for so much more of this kind of thing from the mighty SLADE. Noddy Holder, Dave Hill, Jimmy Lea, and Don Powell, the guys just bring themselves. and playing a Chuck Berry type of tune. it's simply the best, and there guys were meant to do this good old fashioned Rock and Roll. since they were inspired by Chuck Berry and Little Richard. and it was the best music on the planet and actually still is. dispite what some people would say. and it's why I have been and always will be a huge Rock and Roll fan. I definitely would love to see more of this stuff thanks for posting it.
SLADE..I wish they could of recorded more of there Tracks in the Studio for all the fans to see eathier Singles or Tracks off Albums would of been Good.. i Absolutely love the guys.. there will never ever be a better band..a better Front Man as great as Noddy Holder and never will there be a more of an Entertaining Live Band Than Slade.. have seen them Live and have loved them for over 50 years and always will do for many more years to come 👍
Great Band and I went to see them at Victoria Hall Hanley where they played lots of Great songs and DAVE HILL got on top of his Stack of Speakers and started playing Jimi Hendrix songs, it blew me away... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT BAND 🙏💚💛❤️🙏
I loved them in the 70s when I was a boy. I worked at The Marquee and at Reading in 1980 when they had their comeback tour. This, though, is the very worst of Slade. Dull, cheesy, pub rock. Play Slade Alive to hear what they were capable of.
