@hyoonoot Bro every time I listen to what would be considered an "underground nu metal band" I always see you in the comments 😂 Good to see someone who appreciates good music tho
I always liked them, I even saw them at Snocore 2001 and Ozzfest 2000, but it's not like they were going to become the next Korn or whatever, they were a cool band, but they didn't have their own original sound, they were just kind of riding that nu metal wave that was going on in the late 90s/early 2000s that started from bands like Pantera, Korn, Helmet, and Rage Against The Machine.
ive never been the one to pay a lot of attention to lyrics. can listen to my favorite song 10x in a row and maybe know 1 line. its the sound of the voice and then the music that gets me. thats what i love about nu metal. energy out of this world
The sight of Shifty Shellshock handing a microphone to the vocalist from Slaves On Dope, who comes on stage wearing a windbreaker and giving the crowd the finger, is the percect snapshot of of the nu-metal era. Hilarious. Some people might think nu-metal sucked, and... Well, it did... But I love it anyway. This band's first album was brilliant, and this song was the fuckin' jam! \m/.
DEMONIOS!
i know this is useless because people lie in youtube comments 99% of the time, but these guys used to let me sing with em on stage when they came to austin. i think they thought i was dying or something.
I like them now, but amidst the other bands out at the time, they were tepid comparitively. But had i seem them as an opener or somewhere live, i'd have probably dug on them more in their prime. Poor marketing on MTV/radio's part
