I hear other reactors using filters, and no pausing, or just as they are, and they don't get blocked. I can't swear to it but I know that VoicePlay never block their videos. They have no redorcing company to answer to, being totally independent. Some reactors.pause a lot to say something, some don't. It's down to how you want to do it. Patreon has BTS videos of all their videos. And yes those are contact lenses which they have a lot of "fun" putting in. :)

While VoicePlay won't block videos, RU-vid has its own rules and has been known to occasionally block VoicePlay videos on their own. Pausing occasionally seems to work to get past those blocks, so it's probably a good idea, especially if you want to comment on the video.

It's a space shanty. No, you are right, it's a sea shanty it's just set in this space game WARFRAME universe, so space shanty, since you have the spaceships. It's so funny when he sings "BELOW" and goes below everything we know in his range, almost reaching the planet's core. Oh yea, always watch the videos of VP, and Geoff, to the very end for the extras at the end, clips from BTS and stuff. Welcome in the VP rabbit hole.

Have to disagree. He did not reach beyond everything we know about his range because in this song he only used chest. No subs. And we know subs allow him to reach deeper

You might be interested in exploring VPs take on the famous Sea Shanty 'What do we do with a Drunken Sailor?'' It's silly, it's funny, the singing is gorgeous. Sea Shanties are working songs, written to be repetitive as they were sung by workers laboring together who needed to "keep the beat" of hauling sails or whatever. VP, of course, doesn't tolerate any nonsense about repetitive choruses and verses, and they make each one shine individually. The arrangement is spectacular. Do stay with it past the end - this is one that seems to end twice before it really does.

Home Free and VoicePlay are both extremely talented but sooo different to me. VoicePlat is by far my favorite and I think part of it is they are so unpredictable. Because of their genius creativity and arrangements they still surprise me every time they release something new. You never know what’s coming next, even within the same cover. Not to mention those voices!! Just amazing. Yes, they have behind the scenes on their Patreon in the 2nd tier and it’s always entertaining. There was a whole contact lens debacle and most of them struggled 😅 Thank you for reacting to them and you have a wonderful smile ❤

Great reaction! I love a sea or even space shanty and I am really enjoying your journey into Voiceplay. The Patreon bts and other perks are definitely worth the price of admission. They will sometimes put a short message, bts, remix, or a bit of the karaoke track at the end of a video or in some older ones outtakes or general silliness and shenanigans.

For someone who says he doesn't know all the vocal terms, you've described the dynamics and layers perfectly! I had to LOL when you talked about contacts. Same here. I never, ever wanted to wear them. Touch my own eye?!?! Yuck! Then a big recession hit in the 80s, lots of layoffs and businesses closed. The only steady job I could find was in an ophthalmologist's office. Taught patients how to put contacts in properly and care for them. So, with a choice between going hungry and putting contacts in and out a few times a day--I learned to use contacts. Life has a sense of humor. 🤣

What makes it worse for them is that these are cosmetic contact lenses, which are not particularly fitted to the individual's eye, and are thicker--so even more uncomfortable!

Traditional Sea Shanty's were originally sailors work songs, to help the crew to literally pull together to raise the sails, or the anker and so on.

I heard this very early this morning and have been listening to it all day. It's so catchy and fun! It's an anthem type song to me and it makes you feel strong and ready to go into the fight (whatever that may be for us) That's how it makes me feel at least. I love this cover. I have tried to play Warframe, but Skyrim is more my speed. Layne is a beatboxing beast in this cover. I think calling it a space shanty fits perfectly...lol. This cover is absolute fire. Great reaction!🔥🔥🔥

It has a lot similarities to sea shanties, and as a sci-fi reader, it's a small step to take it to a spaceship. Sleeping in the cold below could easily be cryo-sleep if it's a long way to the planet you're going to. The backgrounds look like they could be processed from the Hubble and Webb photos. The new contacts are soft, my first ones were hard.

You should look up Voiceplay's "The Wellerman." It's outstanding. Also their "What Do We Do With A Drunken Sailor?" And make sure you watch to the end on the second one.

It's contact lenses. Cesar and Omar shared a pair to make eyes a mismatch. Post production work for eyes is way too difficult and time consuming. For me it's obvious that reactor stops video in suitable places to share their views and thoughts. That's the whole point in reaction. In my opinion, Layne's voice percussion was exceptionally good .

I watch reactions to get others opinions and to catch things I missed. Pausing is part of it. Better than them just looking and smiling for 4 minutes. You can always tell a Geoff arrangement because Layne usually shines in them
