Slickest in the West: Adineko 

oh man I've been watching spaghetti westerns lately and that desolate sounding intro jam just sold me on this pedal

I am always amazed at his "history of a pedal" videos. Truly a master of his craft.

It sounds like Spring Reverb's evil Twin Brother.

My first thought is that this does maybe the best job of capturing the actual spinning sound of mechanical delays- tape, drum, oil can- of any pedal I've heard, especially the clip around 2:35.

Just played with my brand new one after a few days break. Right at home with my reverb tank and aqua puss. There is nothing like this wonderful pedal. I love too, that pretty much setting everything to noon as a starting point gets you a wonderful st's just designedound that plays well with a lot of other things. It's just designed well

Finally ordered an Adineko from Hot Rox in the U.K. a couple of days ago. Should be here today. It was released to the world on my birthday 4 years ago so it’d be rude not to have one! Can’t wait, I’ve been eyeing it for over a year and watching some of the same clips over and over. I had a choice last year and bought the Belle Epoch which is epic.

I was gonna use an MXR Micro Flanger, GT-OD, and either their Carbon Copy or a Way Huge Supa Puss. Now I will invest in the Catalinbread Callisto, Karma Suture, and EchoRec. I wanna grab this guy too. Been lookin for a dark reverb effect to play metal with. Now all you have to do is create a kickass Wah and/or filter effect that's one of a kind and my pedalboard will be a breadboard.

I love this dude's videos! They used to be on the Catlinbread website. One day I watched almost all of them in a row, one after the other and "Whoah!" found myself in a very different headspace. I dig the combination of demonstration, history, psychedelia, and imagination in his videos. There's definitely a relaxed vibe to them that I attribute (maybe stereotypically) to the west coast, but its good! I wonder if the dude composes original music in the style of each pedal... Why did Catlinbread take the videos down? They were really good, man!

I want to get this and just jam out Neil Young's Dead Man soundtrack for HOURS! Great stuff Howard! :)

Wonder how this would sound on bass. I'm imagining combining this kind of surreal, "ghost of an older era" tone with modern bass lines like you would hear from Muse or Tool.

Great job guys. I was never a fan of oil cans, but I like how you created something new out of it with all these extra options, and given players a new voice that can be very versatile. I also like the video style - I don't think I've seen it before in your demos, is that new? (For a while I've been away from effects & music tech that were a huge hobby of mine for years. I've also been following you since your very first pedal)

Does the viscosity knob affects the pitch, the volume or is it more of a time based effect ? What does he means by amount of swirls?

Reminds me of "Guns Of Brixton" by The Clash.

I've owned a Fender Echo-Reverb for the past 25 or so years. I have to say that this does a pretty darn good job of recreating this oddball effect with the addition of many new possibilities. One day when my oil can finally decides to kick the bucket, it's nice to know I'll have something to take it's place.
