I lost 17kg by just changing all my unhealthy snacks (chocolate and cakes) for fruit, I still eat pizza and fried chicken but in moderation with vegetables and salad; the first few days can be rough if you comfort eat and literally eat all the pies but it gets easier with time and soon you forget you miss it. I really recommend it if you're over 100kg, it can make a big difference. But I must say you must also exercise, if you don't exercise at all - you will still lose physical weight but aesthetically you will still look fat because you're not burning off the fat; a few sit ups, push ups and a little running goes a long way, if you can't go outside just running up and down your stairs, back and forth in your garden or even on the spot can really help burn some of that fat and the fitter and healthier you get - the better you look and feel. This is based upon myself and my own opinion - of course everyone is different so results may vary. I hope this short paragraph at least inspires someone to make a change because when you see the results - it really does excite you. And as Chelle said if you accidently go off your diet or have one cheat day a week, it doesn't make a huge difference (unless you eat the entire fridge), don't feel bad: Remember self control is key, once you master that - then nothing can stop you from achieving your goal. Have a wonderful day :)
I'm 43, a man and 200 lbs and what I've been doing for a month is *two* level scoops into enough (WHOLE) milk to make it blend enough. I do that for two meals a day (usually breakfast and dinner) and then for my solid meal I just eat whatever I want until I feel full. No snacking, just diet soda and crystal light and coffee when I feel it. I get every flavor of shake for variety, sometimes mixing one scoop of strawberry with a scoop of chocolate for a neopolitan ice cream shake. I use one of those hand blenders so I can get the shake foamy and full of air. So far I've lost about 5-8 pounds over a month. I don't really exercise beyond doing house chores like cleaning dishes, mowing and weeding the lawn, cleaning the house, etc. The advanced nutrition version of the shake mix has twice as much protein btw, which I think helps curb hunger
I started the slimfast diet yesterday after eating a lot healthier for 4 weeks and I'm so excited to see the results improve even more. Best I've felt in years!
I've been on slimfast for almost a week I have it for bfast or sometimes lunch. I also eat low carbs and about 120z of water a day and exercise daily for 30 min. I was 170 now I'm down to 164 which I think right now is mainly water I'm losing. It's hard to stay motivated 😣😣
That's an amazing accomplishment. I find taking photos of progress can help you stay motivated as it's not just the weight it's how you look too. Dont be hard on yourself xx
I'm going to start this tomorrow!! I've been on a diet already for nearly a week now and have been walking every day for 30mins- 1hour and I've already lost a bit of weight 😁
Hi ,when you were not born I was already in slim fast, and I was very happy with it, now at 52 I need to do it again and stop in your channel which was very helpful. Thank you.
I just started today. It’s actually really good. Just sick of liquid. I had the vanilla shake for breakfast, a chocolate shake for lunch and for dinner I had some potatoes, spinach and pork. I didn’t have a snack.
I’ve started this today! Realised quickly that the reason you eat 6 times is because it’s small amounts very often. Felt dizzy and had a headache but I had my final snack bar with a coffee this evening and feel fine. Really hoping to see results!
@@dragonloverxxl34 personally it works for me, I have also some days changed my lunch to a chicken salad instead of a shake. I find this gives me balance. I’d rather stick to it thank you as I’ve already lost 4lbs. It’s normal to have side effects when u change your diet so drastically at first but now 11 days on I feel much better and I’m enjoying it.
i’m on day 1! i had a shake for breakfast, an apple for a snack and a shake for lunch. Just had dinner, grilled a chicken breast and had some rice. I’m finding it hard to keep energetic though, since this morning i’ve felt extremely tired.
I found it got easier but it depends how active you are as when I started going to the gym I didn't have enough energy, but it was great for an initial boost. Thanks for watching :)
Starting slim fast tomorrow my goal to lose 2 stone in 3 months. Although I have the starter pack I’ll probably end up editing the diet. So excited to start it though!
Update: started slimfast and stuck to it for a week. But then I don’t know why I stopped eating. I’ve lost over a stone. And still losing. I’m having good and bad days where I eat or don’t. But stopped the shakes now I just eat healthier low cal meals. Doesn’t work for everyone I suppose 🤷♀️
@@winifredandhuman5981 Developing an eating disorder from trying slimfast isn't normal. That's probably been lingering around you for years. 0.0 How are you doing now?
@@JesslynnM8 yes I think it has been lingering and dieting exacerbated it. I’m under an eating disorder team after loosing too much weight. I think I was oblivious to already having food issues. I think if there is already an existing issue than diets should definitely be avoided.
Hi Chelle Maybe you can try eating dinner, without any carbs with dinner and see if less bloated? I’m on keto and it helps so I bought this slim fast shake to try to help me stay on track.
Good honest video , I have just literally started it , but I think I messed up , had a strawberry shake , then one of the meal replacement bars after , then watched this video,
I'm trying this to shift a few lockdown pounds , using almond milk , with the shakes ,don't eat breakfast so will have the shake for my lunch or evening meal & some low calorie snacks in between 😁
I'm probably messing up, but..I use the powder & add almond milk & put frozen strawberries, blueberries & raspberry in it, and also add 2 small things of Splenda sugar in it, blend it all in a blender & it's SO good! More like a treat than a meal, AND when I do it this way, my belly gets SO stuffed...like I said, I'm probably messing it up, but give it a try, I Promise you that you will be SO full!
I've started slimfast this week along with the slimfast capsules, this video was very detailed thank you, it has helped me figure where I was going wrong
I know you did this ages ago but have you ever kept it up longer than a week? I start a new job in 12 days. Day 1 done and I'm still keen. I'm doing the keto one though. Hope I can start my new job under ten stone. (i'm only 5'1''')
Oh my god. I just had some of the french vanilla slimfast powder and it was soooooo gooood. I added a cup of berries to it. Figured some berries when I don't eat much fruit was a good idea. I weight 252 right now. Lets see how much I can loose just changing lunch to a shake and having some veggie snacks. Also you can't pay me enough to drink skim milk. Also my store doesn't sell lactose free skin milk. So I do reduced fat (2%).
Omg from America I Thought your scale said you weighed the first time 117lb pounds and then the second time 111lb I had to look it up what it was in stones was in weight 🤭
Im pretty sure on the tin it states not to use product if breastfeeding. I waited a yr after having my son and I've lost 40kg. Now I have 15kgs to go and its stalled for 2 months so I'm on day 7 of the sf, no loss as of yet. Its all messed up started my period 3 times since mid oct and im sure I have water retention of 8lbs+ Can't wait for Friday to take this implant out!
I have bought the tub of milkshake of slim fast and drink the shake instead of two meals and then i have one healthy meal i am looking forward to trying this out and hope i lose weight. i am starting this tommorow. i am 14 stone at the moment and need to lose more.
Hi Beverley, yes i did apart from over Christmas where i put some back on but lost it in January and just follow more healthy eating now and more conscious of calories etc. It was great at the start though as gave me the boost I needed to loose some weight and feel better about myself. Let me know how you get on. Good luck x
The banana flavour one is actually very nice. Don't have a shake container so have just been using a teaspoon and stirring it. Really need to buy a blender or something. The only downside is it is expensive at £7.25 a tub from Morrisons. Only started today.
Yum with frozen fruits,,, cute baby hiccups owwww it’s comes out thicker if u put in the blender hun yum,, omg ur food looks yummy is that from the book ?
Hey there I’ve just started mine this morning like watching ur videos thts all I have done since getting up , the chicken kfc burger what’s the stuff on it plz looks so nice
Wow here in Canada we don't get anything like that.. we have to buy it all separately and we don't have the porridge but can find similar. We do have the crisps though the bbq is my favorite and we have the chocolate snack bars too we also don't have the banana shake mix... we use to have one that you mixed with orange juice but they don't make that here anymore so I use the vanilla mix for that
Hi Rosie, thank you for watching. I'm still doing it but not as strict as don't think its something you can do longterm. I'm still having the shake for lunch and trying to follow the main principles. I'll post a followup video soon. Have you started it? xx
Hi I want to start this diet, I was just wondering do we HAVE to do the 3,2,1 step? I usually skip breakfast and lunch anyway, but I could have the shake then, but do I have to have the full 600 calories or can I eat less?
the less calories you eat the more weight you will lose, the whole point of these shakes is to give you all the vitamins and shit you need for day to day without having to eat as many calories.
It's definitely worth doing for a little boost, you should try it for a week and see how you get on. I did miss food a little but as you can eat dinner and still have snacks it's not that bad but couldn't do it forever lol. I didn't exercise a lot, just tried to go for a walk every day. Let me know how you get on xx
Hi you have all cute baby.....it's are you Bst feeding to your baby or ....Thank you just want know if I want try the slimfast Between I'm breeding to my baby?
Hi I'm thinking of trying slimfast , if I'm having 2 shakes a day for breakfast and lunch and I'm using the powder mix in the tins How long would 1 tin last me?
I'm thinking about going on slimfast I wanted to no how much you have lost in a month I no it can change from person to person as people burn fat faster then overs but just wanted to no as I struggled to lost weight xx
Hi Kym, it's definitely worth doing as a bit of a kickstart to weight loss. After the first week it wasn't as quick, around 2lb per week then I changed to just having the shake for lunch. Good luck :) xx
I was thinking about trying this but I’m not sure what flavour shake is the best lol I was wondering what everyone’s favourite is, I want it to be as enjoyable as possible
At Home With Chelle they are on offer for £5 at my Asda too I picked up some strawberry (and banana) thanks for the suggestion I hope it goes well haha
My first day I had breakfast about 12, 1 slice of toast, beans some crispy bacon with a little cheese topping. I then did a shake for my shift at work I made it with water and added some fruit. I had 2 slices of baguette with olive oil and balsamic viniger. I am rubbish at cal counting so I hope I'm not over, I drank over 2lt of water and had 4 cups of tea with no sugar and a splash of milk
Thanks for watching Suzy. I've not tried it with water, did it taste ok? It can be difficult but I found the myfitnesspal app really easy to help me keep track xx
samson ijeoma hapiness it says on the shake container that I have that if you are pregnant or nursing you should ask your doctor first before starting it
Right guys, let me share with you a nuclear powered tip. Add another eighth of a litre of water plus two teaspoons of psyllium husk to your shake. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken up, you'll have a bigger, thicker shake with zero extra calories.
