Installing Uncle Mike's Quick Detachable Super Swivels on the Henry 22LR rifle. Doesn't take too long but this is part 1 of 2. Had a little trouble lining up the rear sling with the butt stock but it works.
I have the same rifle and sling swivels I used an Allen sling I sold my Remington 597 semi auto and then purchased this gun I've found it a lot more fun shooting the lever action and a lot more practical for hunting. Nice vid man.
By chance did you need to remove your magazine tube? I just bought the same swivel kit and the front mount piece isn't two parts like this video shows.
No drilling for me. I modified an Allen shell holder with a velcro strap across the back to prevent it from sliding forward when I am shooting. Instead of drilling a hole for the swivel post I wrapped several strands of heavy weight fishing line where the hole in the ammo carrier would have been and attached the swivel to that. Works perfect and protects the beautiful wood.
