Slipways - Intergalactic Empire Building Strategy 

This game can be seriously frustrating at times, but it's worth it for those beautiful moments of satisfaction, like when you finally figure out a plan for an area that leaves every world prosperous, or when a single connection causes several planets to upgrade at once.

UI Tip for planning moves. At any point you can do the following to plan your planet builds and trade routes LEFT click a plant to get the build options. RIGHT click an option When you do this to plants it will show all options for trade connections for that option you have selected based on the current plant builds and any other "plan" builds. This makes it very easy to plan out planet builds and trades routes for them. Also once you are ready to commit to the build you can just click once on the plant to do the planned option you selected. If you found this comment helpful, like it so others can see it too.

What a neat little game. I can already see how elegant and simple it is, while developing complex situations. Glad to see you return to this, it definitely deserves it!

Boom and there are more space games you review than i could of believed would be possible 10-20 years ago.

man these games seem like made for younger people like i come from work every day whit my brain melted no way im going to think all this stuff, but the younger me loved this sort of stuff lol they are chart games like its just a puzzle dressed up as a space game

I enjoy this game since discovery from Splat and Nook months ago... but for the life of me it kicks my ass every time.

Took me a few games to realize it's not an input "this" so you can output "that"... It's an output "that" so you can give it to someone else, which means you have to input "this" to be happy. You'll generate the output even without the input. It's all about balancing what you can give vs what others need.

I think I'm seeing why you play it to relax, didn't really hit me at first but now I see the sort of idk, poesy maybe in setting up interplanetary production lines and watching the economy run on its own.

Love this game, fun and elegant. Would recommend that you spend time also looking at shoring up excess with research facilities. That would help push planets to prosperous.

Hey Splat, The control and alt buttons are AMAZING. also, preplanning with middle mouseclick will up your game. Also you can undo moves back to the last time you revealed new information.

This game sucked me in with sci-fi colonizing strategy ideas and then turned out to be a glorified puzzle game with zero strategy. Instant refund.

This looks waaayyy too similar to Star Ruler 2 and SR2 is free.

It's not a strategy game, it's a puzzle. One without an overall goal. Ended up refunding it after the novelty wore off.

I've refunded this game on Steam, because the difficulty is so obviously artificial, its unbearable. Any difficulty beyond easy, the game simply doesn't give you good matches.

While I was a big fan of these games, I found less enjoyable as I realized that in all of these games (well maybe except endless space 2) youre every command is fullfilled on time without any obsticle. It is so unrealistic even for a sci-fi that I cannot get myself to enjoy it. Technologies shouldnt be on the clock, it should be maybe a decreasing random chance each turn, and shouldnt be exact either it should be a random one from a selection in that field. Point me at a rogue like space game like this, and don't tell me I have to make it... I can, but atm im in the process of making another game that doesnt exist....
