When I get the money up to buy the last bits of parts for my engine build I will be doing a whole video on what I’m using and why 450hp is a good safe number just keep the torque under 500 as this is what blows the motor not the hp the powdered rods in these engines are very weak and don’t like the extra power. And 7-8 psi is a safe boost number I was at 11-12 when both my engines blew

Which wheels the front or the back?

@@screamingyeller8853 The whole set-up. I have a problem with traction and I'm getting a drag pack installed but want to go with a tire with more sidewalls.

@@danielroberson5421 so on the rears I have the racestar recluse 15x10 with micky Thompson et street radial pro.

@@danielroberson5421 the fronts are just American muscle amr wheel 19x10.5 firehawk Indy 500 285/40-19. I will be getting the recluse skinny’s for the front once I get some money saved up

It’s hard to say with you being that tall I’m 5”11 and have plenty of head room. Best I can say is to find one used somewhere and do a test ride see how it fits.

Cool man. I’ve had my 3v for about 9 months now and I’m thinking of going turbo, the problem is my car is lowered.

Only way I was able to do it was go to Napa and I asked if I could go into the back and look at all their fittings

It’s the bullit gt steering wheel they don’t make them any more unfortunately

So far it’s holding up really good I turned the boost down and I’m launching harder before I was leaving at 4300 now I leave at 4900 we still have more testing to do but after five runs I thought that was good for the day and left the track with no problems.

They shouldn’t be how much psi are you running

@@screamingyeller8853 when the car got hot it was reading oil pressure at idle like 17-18psi but then again I got my cam phrasers locked. I’m going to put the sensor next to the return line and see if it changes

Yeah I’m waiting on parts for my engine build everything is on back order I’m still waiting for my crank rods and pistons.

For sure I should be going back next month so I can get a warm up for when I go to streetcar takeover at rockingham next month

Thank you! so I have my wot box set at 4900 launch. Wot shift is set to 250ms but I’m lowering that to 200 maybe 150. And when I go down the track depends on my load but it’s anywhere between 7.5-10

Wheels or crank?

When I get to the power I want 4.10s will be to much turbos don’t like higher gears they like longer gears

@@screamingyeller8853 lol same with me. I have 4.10s it’s great for the track but bad for the street I may look into 3:31s

@@Doitfor_E yeah my turbo makes the same power from 4300 to 6300 so the lingers is better on the strip don’t have to shift as much

You don't have to be rich to run your car. If you go wide open and redline on the street it's just as hard on it as it would be doing the same thing at the track. Only difference is launch may be harder on it that is why you get a 1 piece ds and upgrade your rear end and stuff. Far as the engine and trans don't exceed the safeish limits, use good fuel, and learn to drive and it should last a while.
