quick question, are you on coilovers? i’m having trouble with the sway bar links not matching up with the strut hole after the sway bar relocation. very frustrating
No I put stock springs up front with koni yellow adjustable struts and I did a half inch drop with drag springs in the rear also koni tallow adjustable
Did you not read the title? It was the first run with the turbo was checking things out before I power-shifted…. The fastest I could get it was 11.3 before I blew the motor up.
Yeah cause I totally want to power shift with my first pass and the turbo on stock internals. Sorry I can’t go shift faster than your mom goes through guys.
How did you route your crossover coolant line for the turbo is it just extended to over the turbo? That I see there. Because I can't find a 07 and up coolant crossover
So stock internals have blown on me twice with two different engines. Both was my fault pushed more boost than I needed to and right now I’m working on getting the parts to build my 3rd motor just waiting on parts that are back ordered
I'm about to rebuild mine. 107k big cam and she got a nasty knock and lost oil pressure. Dunno what happened but I have an on3 kit and want those sweet whoosh noises. I just followed on insta cause I have no clue what I'm doing haha
Ok, to the wheels? I'm building a car here in Sweden with a Saleen 6 SC on it, just got it lito-tuned. next step is gears, I was thinking of buying 4.10, what do you use and do you think it works well?@@screamingyeller8853
It’s hard to say with you being that tall I’m 5”11 and have plenty of head room. Best I can say is to find one used somewhere and do a test ride see how it fits.
I am planning to leave 3.31 for street and go drag street tires. Hopefully she won't spin in first, becouse i have auto and never going to be at the track.
I wish the did a better job with the piping some areas the tolerance is to close. I also wish it was a forward facing header set up instead of going down and around back to the front
Hello, been learning a lot from your videos, i want to boost my 2006 gt 3V, 186,000 miles, on3 performance turbo kit. I would like to replace internals, to make it stronger, what is your suggestion on the the😮 internal parts thAT NEEDS REPLACING, also based on your experience what would a good boost to keep engine safe, im not a mechanic or racer, just want a faster, maybe 450hp
When I get the money up to buy the last bits of parts for my engine build I will be doing a whole video on what I’m using and why 450hp is a good safe number just keep the torque under 500 as this is what blows the motor not the hp the powdered rods in these engines are very weak and don’t like the extra power. And 7-8 psi is a safe boost number I was at 11-12 when both my engines blew
Still working on getting parts for the engine build and my daily pick up blew an engine so I had to get me another truck. I might do an update video on the parts that I have and what’s left to go before I start building
@@screamingyeller8853 hey if you don’t mind helping me out for a quick second, i am currently installing my on3 turbo kit for my 3 valve. i relocated the oil filter and the same oil filter doesn’t fit the relocated oil filter housing. do you run a smaller oil filter? if so, what size?
What’s your instagram? I got a second motor and transmission I’m going to rebuild and beef up. Im still gather as much info I can to decide exactly what to do to the motor.
I just installed mine and i keep getting codes p2004 and p2005 (Intake manifold runner control stuck open bank 1 and 2) did you also have this problem?
A couple of rods and a 5 gallon bucket of JB weld and your back on the road. LOL. Wow she detonated. That looks like high rpm explosion. I'm working towards doing a 4.6 3v swap in my 03' Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It makes the same power as the 4v in the Marauder. But with a better power band. And she's narrower then the 4v. And cheaper lol. I'm going to use the stock 3v ECU so I can run the VVT and charge motion valves in the intake. At least till I boost it. Foureyes showed changing the intake to a Ford Racing Intake dropped alot of power through the torque band. I don't want to loose that much power until I boost it with a turbo. A set of Weisco pistons and K1 rods and a forged crank should help her last. She's going to be my daily but not my work car lol. I don't want to wear her out just driving back and forth to work. That is a good looking Stang. Everyone is doing either Ls swaps or 5 oh swaps. I want to be different and you can make Lot of power with the 4.6 it just costs more then the Ls.
@screamingyeller8853 yes sir. I'm working on building my 4.6 3v fir my Vic. It's gonna be a bit too. Same as you. It takes time to save up for parts lol. We will get there tho.
