Mam, I do believe that women also had a role for our Independence as well as the dealing societal evils in India. They were also involved as the Constituent Assembly members who played a pivotal role in reshaping our Constitution. Not only that, the historic Women's Reservation Bill has been passed. This would ensure the empowerment of woman in all spheres of life including in political matters. Because of the feminist movements which had happened recently, they share the same respect, freedom and treatment like the men gets. I have learned the chapter Gender, Religion and Caste in Political Science and aware of the demerits of such sexual division which espouses hatred, superiority of one gender and discrimination due to gender differences. That is why we often celebrate National and International Women's Day to promote the rights of women which were previously prevented in the past. Thank you for showing the reality of humanity by sending this crucial video.
