Small Talk is a discussion of topics from a Biblical perspective. From a monthly women’s group, we decided to expand and tackle more than just topics that women face. Our goal is to be more inclusive for all listeners.
I enjoyed the session this morning, the only reason I believe it's ok to worship at separate churches is when you both are PK kids and when your parents both need you it is then you can agree to support them until God called them home. He has called them home so now we are enjoying worshipping together. It might not work for everyone, but when God is in it ,it will. We have no complaints we've supported and again we are now together. Many didn't understand but we did, we had peace in our home. I must say God fixed it that way. Now to the point you all were discussing I do believe if it wasn't a case like ours there will be hurt,disagreement,.ect. Thank God for this session I was able to tune in on. .. And Rev. Thank you for the Sunday school teaching, I listen to you then I go and study the lesson, you are on point with your SS teaching. To all be encouraged wonderful teaching this morning.
Thank you for your comment. Every household will operate differently. What works for one may not work for the other. My personal opinion and belief even for PK's, is when a husband and wife are joined together in marriage the wife has fallen under the covering of her husband. Since the two are now unified as one, they should worship together. They could compromise and still visit the others church from time to time and find balance. I would advise anyone in that situation to take it to God in prayer and allow Him to give you direction. Again, thank you for your comment. It is greatly appreciated.
