'Suspicious looking tackle club sticker'. Would you care to elaborate Robbie?? 😁 Your enthusiasm to be back out flicking lures is contagious. Some nice fish there boys, well done!
Haha Thanks Frank. It is so good to be back on the water with rest casting lutes. After Christmas these videos will become a lot more common.... hopefully. LOL
great video always gotta appreciate the small ones your videos make me soo excited to go for a fish all the time and i do today i put my rod in the river a few metres from my house and went out foshing caught some roach and redfin and came back and caught a brown trout from my river trying for short finned eels tonight and blackfish
Hiya rob Them cod are so beautiful they send a shive down my spine every time I see one.. Mate have a good day and best wishes to all... I have a date with some unsuspecting turkeys 😱 😎🏴
Oh yeah some great baits and great fishing Robbie .that Brett is a fish magnet and I love how those yellow belly look almost like a big pumpkin seed with a tail .thanks Robbie and I hope you and yours have a merry Christmas ...
Hi Robbie! Love the videos that you have posted over the past month. Today I went yabbying and caught 91 yabbies on handlines. Love the content keep it up.
Thanks so much mate. WOW thats a lot of yabbies, well done. I went yabbying this afternoon and caught no yabbies. LOL I have some pretty cool yabbying videos coming out soon though thanks to a run of good luck lately.
I'm moving to central Queensland soon so I'll have to pack up my saltwater knowledge and try to remember what I can about freshwater. Your videos will help a fair bit I reckon. That frog looked surprised after the cod grabbed it.
Well done to you both, those Yellowbelly had terrific colouring. Still looks like a couple weeks before the Edward is fishable, so great to watch vids like yours to get my fix LOL
Thanks so much Larry. I'm so glad to hear that there's light at the end of the tunnel for you. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Edwards fishes after the floods.
Great to see you out having a flick with good old Brett never met the man but l reckon he would be a top bloke anyway Robbie you and your family have a wonderful Xmas mate thanks for all your videos this year
Well done mate, I have a 6th sense speedwake waiting to attack the river myself, great looking lure, put it to use over the Xmas break now our local rivers are starting to fire. Merry Xmas
6:04 was someone on the wacky tobacky there? 🤣 awesome vid mate, that lure box is a ripper too 👌 also that oval shaped split ring is common on the Jackall micro pompadour lures, bit small for what you typically do though
@@robbiefishing context needed next time hahaha. Yeah it won't be too common on the lures you typically use but it is more common on the more finesse Bass stuff.
Hi mate most of my fishing is in North East Victoria and the Riverina region of NSW. Occasionally I travel a little bit further away. Recently I went to Lake Cargelligo in NSW and Mildura in Victoria.
Hi mate, well done. You found an unlisted video. Hahaha I am publishing this video tonight at 7pm. I hope you enjoyed viewing it exclusively. 😀 Only yourself and some of my Patreon followers have seen it. If you wish to share the video that is awesome, but please wait until I have made it public if that is OK. 👍👍
Hi Jack, are they dots or are they tiny little parasites? If they're tiny little parasites, you might be able to put it in some salty water. Put a small amount of water with salt in it in the sink, but not enough to cover the yabbies head. The parasites should just fall off.
Awesome session robbie, I’m keen to get out onto some cod again, but I’m not sure how high the rivers are around my go to spots, gotta get out and explore and find out, I heard some locals have been catching some so I could probably get out, Shepparton’s definitely an underrated area for fishing, so many places around town with excellent fishing and mostly locals know about them
@@robbiefishing I love bait fishing but more recently have been trying lure fishing alot more and I’m enjoying it, in Tatura there’s a small lake called lake bartlett and there’s a couple parts to the lake, there’s Carp, Redfin, Trout and Yellowbelly in there, I’ve also seen a massive dead crayfish in there, it’s hard work but when you catch fish in there it’s so rewarding
I had one of the lures they worked well for me I caught my biggest stick fish was 130cm then next cast lost it haha. Great video mate well done on the fish
"Aw geez she drops away there!" You gotta love wearing waders in a water hole that wants to drown you. Cod are on! Bewdy. Might could be heading out the Ovens this weekend. See you around the traps, mate.
