This was the first project that I was able to complete from start to finish, in a single sitting. So easy to follow along with. It took me 2 hours to complete, but I took so many notes and I finally understand the concept. You are a Rock Star! Love your teaching style... I am actually learning and retaining your information. Thank you from a Data Newbie!
Great Tip Leila! Make sure you do add this trick to your next dashboard people. I quietly added this functionality to a HR dashboard and the audience loved it !
Absolutely BRILLIANT!! Leila, you are pure Gold and Diamonds and all precious stuff! You're at the top of the three people I follow for Microsoft skills.
I just stumbled upon on one of your video some days ago and now I am hooked on to your channel like a junkie. From using excel formula's to coming up to Power Query I enjoyed and learnt from every video i watched. Treat to watch and learn with your interactive style. The best thing is you refer others who are doing the same work as you are. Amazing and wonderful! keep it up!
There's lots in this video; but you present it well, Leila. It's well structured, well paced, and has just enough explanatory commentary. A very useful, real-life example! Thank-you.
Thank you for this tutorial. Love power pivot and DAX measures. Your course is one of the best. So many learning objectives ticked off. Not sure if I’m the only one, but I prefer to build my measures with power pivot window being open, rather than clicking create measure. Need to get used to creating them your way, has I have busted started power bi. Thanks, Martin
Finally 🙌 Dax measures, power pivot and dashboard tricks!!! I need so much to improve this section.😢 Thank you very much, Leila. You are a saving angel.💕
Leila, I would really like to Thank You for inspiring me to create content on RU-vid! I had a RU-vid channel before but did nothing, but thanks to your tutorials, I gained some fuel and created videos 🔥. People started liking my videos and even said that they are useful and I should keep it up 😀. Now I have reached 318 subscribers and I would like to thank you for helping me reach this point 👍🏼 And Great tutorial as always. Your thumbnails are improving by a lot 😎😎
OMG Leila this is exactly what I needed to de-clutter my dashboard, what an amazing trick! You truly are an Excel Goddess! Thank you for sharing your exceptional skills with us, I have learned so much from you and it’s hugely appreciated, by me and my employer who now think I’m an Excel God too! :)
Wow. This is one video that has to be marked as saved. There is so much good info in it, I know I'll keep referring to it again and again. Thank you, Leila!
Thanks Laila,I’m searching for this action since months and finally you shared this, however how ca i get support for other questions, appreciate your feedback.
Amaziiiing Helpful Tips as always, is there a way we can create slicers to allow multiple Options to choose instead of just 1 option to choose in the slide also same method using DAX and Power Pivot for our Pivot Charts
Thanks for the video. This functionality is very useful in creating dynamic reports & dashboards. I have done this with formulas, pivots and slicers, but not with DAX and data model. Thanks for sharing.
Thank yo so much Leila! I've been desperately looking for tutorials on this and here I found exactly what I need. I've been a fan of yours and now I'm a even bigger fan 😀👍👍👍 Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Thank You so Much Leila for this amazing tutorial❤ ... I have a question can I change the cell formatting according to our needs in this case suppose in kpis we want to show total sales quantity ordered and total footfall now for sles we qant to shows the kpis as accounting format and for qty and footfall whole number format is it possible to do this
Thank you, Leila. I have been using this technique in Power BI, but I didn't think to also use it in Excel for some reason... and I'm crossing my fingers that someday Excel DAX will let us use SELECTEDVALUE function...
Amazing video! Now a single large chart can show all the KPIs for a project! I would have had a separate chart all stuffed on one page. This is SOO much better. Thanks!
Thanks. One of the easy to follow content on power pivot. Madam could please upload content on calculated column and measures with example, pointing the difference between the two. It will be highly appreciated.
Thank you for your educational content. I have a question regarding copying this to PowerPoint. Is it possible to create such a formula in Excel and use it within PowerPoint?
awesome! already after 2:33 minutes I have to pause this video to like and commend. Because I already learned so much!! so helpful with the "measures" that I can create myself. So much more robust than adding thousands of columns with measures in the table itself. thanks!
Are we sure Leila isn’t some Advanced AI PROGRAM but rather a human? By far the best Excel content on the internet barn-one! And as accounting CPA in the States, it’s my #1 spot for soliciting excel ideas when attacking a new case at work….and believe it or not, that little stunt alone has really worked magic and stunned bosses & masses alike!
Hola Lelia, I really appreciate your short videos. I had learned a lot and everything you teach is true!! Please keep posting videos with this quality!!!! Please post a video of what suggesting a good computer
This is a great hack! I actually pivot all my measures into a single Measure via powerquery so I can have just 4 measures (Actual, Budget, Forecast, Prior Year) which helps make VTF, VTB, & Y/Y calculations much easier to manage
Thanks for the trick! Is there a way to make the Pivot table rows switch as well when you select the KPI? For example, I am trying to show the demographics of viewers. The KPI's are the number of viewers location and the industry.
Leila, Thank you so much for the wonderful videos. I have one tough problem here. How can i use slier to show or hide multiple charts coming from multiple Pivot tables? Tableau is easy, using parameters. But how about excel?
Leila, It is always a pleasure to watch your videos on RU-vid or Udemy. You guided & inspired me on how to create interactive dash boards. can you include Power BI
Hi Leila, Thanks for the video. It's indeen an eye opening for amateur like me. However, I just wonder, is it possible to do grouping in Data Model Pivot table?
Your tips are often so interactive or dynamic, that one becomes excited or at least more interested of excel. The undiscovered possibilities of solving problems with creativity are nearby endless!
Thanks Leila. There is some good info in this one so I am going to need to watch this one again when I am at my laptop..Thanks for sharing. More DAX/PP videos would be appreciated as there are so many measures to learn.
Awesome Leila! Timely for me as I'm just now doing more with Power Pivot / Power BI and DAX. That's a great slicer trick and lots of other good tips too! As always, thanks for sharing :)) Thumbs up!!
