- Sign in to Google Console Cloud

- Create project or Select Project for API Key
- Click on Navigation Menu ( top left corner )
- Go To API'S and Services

- Click on Enable RU-vid Data API V3
- Now We Need to Create Credentials for our RU-vid API Key

I have the clock for a few weeks. I was hopeless about the firmware updates and new features, but it is great to hear that they are working on the "forecast" fix (I hope also for EU) and other social media counters. It has a great potential. I hope they will keep improving the firmware. Btw, how will we get notified about any update? There is only manual upload option for the update. Thanks Danny!

Great explanation for the RU-vid API! I will get this as a RU-vid subscriber counter for my video background. My LaMetric TIME has one dead pixel after almost 3 years. 😥

I have the Ulanzi TC001 Smart Pixel Clock and I use it ONLY as a RU-vid subscription counter. However it's not counting subscribers above 1000. I currently have over 1000 subs and it keeps showing 1000. How do you fix this?

The “tomato clock” mode is for the Pomodoro time management technique. The creator of the Pomodoro system named it after the kitchen timer that he used. It was shaped like a tomato, or “Pomodoro” in Italian. Funny to see how things get re-iterated into new technology. Sort of like “rewinding” a video.

Did they give you any kind of an ETA on getting the weather fixed? I got mine in the mail today and was bummed that US weather doesn’t work. Besides that, the set up of this thing was kind of a nightmare. Hopefully the firmware comes quickly.

I purchased your Ulanzi desktop clock TC001 and was able to set it up successfully.I have the youtube fans enabled with my UID and API key setup. I have 1888 subscribers now but the youtube fans is displaying 1880. Any update why its not updating?

Thanks for the demo on how to use this thing! I like it so far for RU-vid numbers but you mention after 1000 it's round to the lowest hundred? How about under 1000 where i am now, it seems like it's accurate. I'm in NY and i was shocked to see that it was 0 degrees :D I can do celcius but i can't wait for them to make use of cities outside of china. This thing seems to be a deal when it comes to price. And so far, more reliable than the divoom i was trying. Thanks for your awesome review!

I would leave it in the tomato/ pomodoro timer. Would be great to have it external to my phone. Would probably also leave it on the Matrix Mode from time to time, it looks really cool.

Is there any way to delete Awtrix software from the clock and reset to factory settings so I can set it up this way on the video as opposed through the Awtrix AP Mode ???

i believe through the webpage with the settings, you can uncheck awtrix and it wont show up anymore... but if youve done a bunch through awtrix and just want to factory reset i think that is also on the webpage (the one that you have to connect to the clock)

I would use the RU-vid subscriber count as we have started a RU-vid channel on our own and are currently 203 subscribers and growing. Would love to see the number getting bigger every morning, gives a good feeling.

Pretty awesome clock @DannyBlack and I am going to be the adventurous one and say I will learn the Awtrix and make my own subscriber counter.
