Here I go over a very common mistake that we see with thermostat installation, which is that the wire gauge is too small. This is an issue that I never saw an Arizona. I've only seen it in California, so it may not be an issue that you'll see in your area may not present itself as a problem immediately but it can lead to the thermostat working intermittently due to having a poor connection, we see this problem very frequently on any thermostat that has the stab connectors for the thermostat wire. There are workarounds to it like the one you see in our video that made it so we did not have to run a whole new wire.
