GimR I love how far you’ve gone with the footstool option in general, I’ve been using phantom and normal footstool ever since you made the first vid over a year ago and I can say it’s gotten me out of so many situations as a cloud main it’s crazy. Can’t wait to see how you utilize footstool after aerials to be unpublishable, I’ve never been more excited for a tech.

So I'm guessing it's a tech that makes aerials safe on shield and it probably looks like the character drifts far away from the opponent after hitting shield, which is why everyone is mentioning "wavedash but in the air"

Watch them make one last patch just for this.

All Gimr tech is called "The Gimr" Snake Dthrow combos, phantom footstooling, body block tech chasing, get up attack, etc. Excited af. Especially if it's IDJ levels of ground breaking.

The previous video hinting at the new tech honesty didn’t excite me much. But seeing all these faces of people I love reacting REALLY intrigued me so much that I opened twitch and followed just so I wouldn’t miss this. This video is good ass marketing

It's going to change the game... but the question is... will it be a good change? One of them said that it's like infinite pressure, which might not be too good for the state of the game once people figure it out. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what it is. Who knows, it might make Ultimate one of the best competitive games of all time!

I'm guessing this one, but I know I might be wrong... Here are the things I collected by the trailers alone. 1. Based on the Smash pros' reactions and statements, this might as well be a tech revolving around Neutral Aereal. Since everyone is shocked and commenting about NAirs being safe, this tech may involve NAirs on shield. 2. The mentioned "Wavedashing in the Air" could have a lot of meanings. My guess, in combination with the already mentioned NAirs, is that the NAirs can shift your movement, causing you to have a movement option similar to "wavedashing in the air". 3. Looking back at the other video (the trailer), the tech would most definitely involve phantom footstools (since it is literally shown at the start). Since phantom footstools are in such an oddity for movement options, this may as well BE part of the tech. Adding all these, the tech in question might be what seems to be a Phantom Footstool NAir Drift. It applies to most NAirs, considering the heard characters' NAirs are vastly different to each other. It adds safety to NAirs, considering that the usage of NAir is encouraged, like "I could spam NAir more" and "This will help X character". Wouldn't be surprised if some characters wouldn't be able to perform this because of their NAirs being bad...

It has to do with the fact that each footstool after the first has you jump a little lower. After a few footstools you can do some sort of attack/footstool loop

Tech probably gives you insane movement in the air after an aerial, making all of them pretty much safe on shield, except on Min Min or something.

I've watched this video 4 times already trying to analyze the background noise LMAO I'M HYPE

For those of you who don't want to wait, here is the tech reveal. It involves using IDJ in conjunction with air dodge. If you do this at the precise timing you are able to keep doing attacks while airborn. So instead of being limited in the number of moves you can do before retouching the ground if you use this tech you will be able to basically jump while in the air more than normal. The timing to do this is very hard to get down and I think certain types of DI or SDI will be able to counter while some characters will be too slow to avoid it until they reach certain percentages.
