I feel like another important thing is to keep your clothes clean. it's so bad to smell amazing but then get it ruined by a sweater that's been stored for too long
Guys, make sure that when you brush your teeth, get EVERYWHERE. The roof of your mouth, your tongue, your cheeks, lightly on your gums (very lightly), and even under your tongue.
@juleswifey6003 Yep. I mean, think about it. When your mouth is closed, the roof of your mouth is on the tongue. It's an enclosed space. Odor can accumulate, and believe it or not, food can also get stuck up there. I hope I make some sort of sense. I'm not good at explaining things.
Most ppl don't floss daily. Youre missing a lot of nasty stuff between ur teeth if you don't floss.bthis will cause tartar, bacteria, and make your breath stank
when I tell u she motivates me I was scrolling in my bed at 3pm I still haven’t gotten out of bed besides from going to the bathroom then I come across her and idk what about her but she js motivates me I WANTED to shower and do my full routine because of watching her videos I literally love u I have levelled up but Still transforming to my better self because of her ❤thank u Sara truly ❤
The first thing I do in the shower lately is hit all the hot spots with the Dove antibacterial body wash before washing with another body wash and I am FRESH all day
Thank you for these great tips! A few other things I thought of are proper care of our shoes and boots to keep them from smelling. You can put a perfectly clean foot in a smelly boot or shoe and your hard work on your feet will go down the drain. Let you shoes air out, put a fan on them, shoe inserts and deodorizing sprays are very important. Don't wear same shoes everyday to help them really dry out, if at all possible. Additionally for people who sweat excessively they do make underarm pads and even a vest type of garment with removable underarm pads that can be washed. These can really help protect your clothing from yellowing or fading. Of course those wouldn't work with sleeveless clothing.
Good tip for those with dry skin. Use products with "MOISTURIZING" on them. Anything else strips my skin and doesn't retain any smell. Moisturizing dove body wash is a really good start + a good lotion
ur honestly so amazing my family never taught me enough about hygiene but you’re just giving me so many tips and i’m so grateful i honestly need a daily hair care routine from you! Please include products that you can get from like CVS or any store that’s easy to access to
I love your video. You raised a good point about hair and scalp odor. I see majority of youtubers make hygiene videos and rarely talks about hair washing or scalp care. Keep up the good work.
And also you have to realize that not all hair types get greasy and smelly easier. coily hair types from 3c to 4c tend to be drier naturally and don't get greasy. and to keep hair like that from damage we only INTENSLY wash out hair 1-2 a week. this doesn't mean that 1-2 a week is the only time our hair touches water but it does mean that that is the only amount of times we need to do an extreme hair care routine to maintain amazing smelling healthy hair.
I really recommend applying chemical exfoliation product (like the one from the ordinary) on the armpit. I don’t have body odor so I use it for mostly brightening & ingrown prevention purposes but it works for really cleaning the sweaty area
Y'all i just wanna say the Body Fantasies perfume / sprays ARE SO GOOD!!! Like i bought mine at Walmart, but i saw them at the Family Dollar, and they're under 5$!!!! They last for a good 5 hours, ( 1 - 2 pumps of the spray ) and i get soooo many compliments! My favorite is the Cupcake Vanilla! Its so good!
food sensitivities you have may cause bad breath. i used to have rancid breath as a kid despite taking care of my oral hygiene and it wasn’t until i cut down on dairy that it went away.
6:34 i love rio radience but i found a dupe! its golden sunflower by bath and body works and omg when i tell you it smells identical.. it really does.. i asked my mom if the two smelt similar side by side and she was like "it smells the same"
Chance was also one of ly first "real" perfume and it's still one of my favourites even if i don't have it! It smells so clean and not overpowering so it's an easy wear! Right now I'm wearing J'adore parfum d'eau by Dior and i loooove it!
perfume oil by Netmat, scent called Amber. Lasts all day. All day. They have other scents as well. My favorite is Himalayan Musk. All day last. All day. A little goes a very long way.
You always make me laugh Sara!!! God delights in beautiful smells. I learned to double cleanse . Shea Moisture hair mask. The Best. Mielle overnight conditioner. I clean behind my ears .Witchhazel. Belly button. Clean ears. Ordinary is now available in South Africa. Clean hair. We continue to grow. Also get thise little scent things to put in your cupboards for your clothes to smell nice. Laundry is key.Dont fall in laziness Laziness is a spirit.
Tonsil stones are the number one cause for extreme bad breath, if you suffer from sleep apnea or any respiratory problems please get them checked out 💖 book an ENT appointment and check on the tonsil stones.
So true about shaving. I shave and exfoliate my pits regularly and I can’t remember the last time I smelled BO from them even on days I forget deodorant.. it’s literally been years and I haven’t been musky once lol
I think you realy need to try Arabian musks, I think you would looooovveee them one of the best musk sents i always get asked about is a limmon musk, I was shoked when I smeled at for the first time its from Albdah for aud.
But like on an unrelated note, I tried using rice water on my hair and in my skin it didn’t make the biggest difference but have you tried it before ??
A good oral hygiene tip that most people skip over is BRUSH/SCRAPE YOUR TONGUE! Always get the back of that tongue. Not brushing/scraping your tongue properly is a pattern of bad breath! Thank me later 😉
I have hyperhidrosis. I’ve tried almost every mens/woman’s antiperspirant deodorant in the store. I double cleanse and use an antibacterial soap. I’ve been to the dermatologist. I’ve tried Certain Dri but it burned my skin terribly. I’m currently using secret clinical but I still sweat it out. My issue is because my armpits sweat so much, the deodorant wears off and I guess my armpits smell bad. I just don’t know what to do anymore. This really negatively affects my life. Any advice?
I've heard witch hazel helps. Buy the non alcoholic one so you don't dry your skin out. Glycolic acid can help, too. Maybe try dusting powder under the arms after deodorant to keep you dry?
@@Randomperson16-q4jHey I’ve tried glycolic acid but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s an acid or because I use non-natural antiperspirant, but basically it seemed to work against my antiperspirant and I sweated even more than usual (although I made sure it dried first) and smelled worse. I’ve tried witch hazel in the past but maybe I’ll try again. Because the clinical antiperspirant I use is a soft cream and doesn’t go on dry, I’m not sure if powder will make it dry, but I can try.
Hyperhidrosis means ur gonna sweat anyway so take liquid chlorophyll daily so the sweat itself doesnt stink. I also second the witch hazel & glycolic toner suggestions I use both & rotate them. Use it after each shower and what I do is moisturize the area lightly on top w a natural oil like almond or coconut. No commercial deodorant they make it worse. You can also try a clay based deo (there is a brand called Claydry) to help absorb the sweat. Hth’s
I use to always smell bad .. arm pits that is.. but my routine everyday is shower, cleanse my armpits with exfoliating gloves and Dial antibacterial soap.. the yellow one works best for me.. and then I use a Dr.Teals exfoliating scrub and scrub them pits… then the game changer is a acne body wash called PanOxyl and smell is gone!!! But I do use an aluminum deodorant… try that :)
Hey try these tips if you haven’t -detox your under arms on a regular basis -Eat healthy (fruits and vegetables) - use lemon or lime juice as deodorant ( don’t use this if you’ve freshly shaved) Hopes this helps 😁
Please don’t use the Not Your Mothers Matcha and Green Tea Shampoo. It smells good but it was making my hair fall out like crazy. It left my hair dry and brittle
Brush twice a day, floss, all that. Maybe do whitening treatments every couple of months. Drink coffee or dark liquids through a straw to minimize contact with teeth. I don’t have the whitest of teeth, but these are all the things I've heard to do.
Why is everyone double cleaning their bodies? Everyone seems to use soap and scrub with wash cloth, then repeat with body wash then use a scrub. Like water alone and with a gentle cleanser is actually exfoliating but doesn’t strip your skin. It’s all you need, according to dermatologists. Listen to them. You don’t need to double cleanse your whole body, and you honestly don’t really need to wash your limbs either u less maybe u wore sunscreen. Proceed to do this and I’m sure a few years from now your skin will be dry and sensitive due to the abrasiveness of this type of routine
@@juleswifey6003 doesn’t matter, your still excessively scrubbing your skin raw which will have consequences. There’s a reason dermatologists say you shouldn’t exfoliate your face every day and keep it to once a week, that should apply to the rest of your body too. You’re already exfoliating your skin by simply washing it
@@Lovestay822just say you stink n move on 😭 i can see you’ve posted about this on multiple other hygiene videos so why are you watching them if you disagree with the content? no one here is scrubbing their skin raw and anyone taking the time to double cleanse and exfoliate like this is also taking the time to moisturize and care for their skin after as well we all have different things we prioritize in our day to day lives and you clearly have other priorities in your life if you don’t see the reason for doing all of this which is fine but there’s no need to watch and comment on videos like these if they don’t align with your views
@@lyricetienne430 these aren’t my views, that is the problem. Clearly I’m the only one watching dermatologists shower/routines and recommendations and I’m just trying to spread awareness on how to properly shower according to them. If they’re saying water and a little body wash is all you need, why does everyone think they need a minimum of two washes everywhere on their bodies? I watched them cause I enjoyed watching them and got inspired to change my whole routine sound and spend money on crap I don’t need but convinced I should do all these things then did some research to find out almost everything in these videos is so extreme that at best is unnecessary and at most is damaging the skin over time. Also if you need to wash your whole body a minimum of two times everyday to not stink u should see a doctor cause that’s not normal. Just watch a dermatologist’s shower routine, there are a few of them posted here and then you’ll see what I’m saying.
@@Lovestay822 see but this isn’t a shower routine video it’s specifically about how to smell good all day we know it’s extra but if our goal is to have smooth skin and smell amazing all day this is how we can achieve that im not saying i stink otherwise but i for sure don’t smell the same as when i just got out the shower bc all the smell good products we buy fade throughout the day and i know what your referring too but i choose not to follow them bc we live in a society where we have access to showers everyday (keep in mind there are still people living in countries today that don’t) and as for stripping your skin overtime as i said before anyone doing all this is also doing the correct follow up care to sustain this kind of routine
