I’m watching a lot of Lilith build videos. This one had an intriguing choice. Of the build videos, only 2 used Dramatic Entrance. The rest scoffed at it. I was wondering what reasons you have for using it. I’m skeptical it’s worth it, but would love to see the light. You could have put those points in Mind Games. And with SMG’s, the chance to proc it is so high, other builds spend only 3 points. You do a lot of shooting here. Dramatic Entrance uses Phasewalk offensively. With Mind Games, you could save PW for defense, and let your guns do the Dazing. I liked Mind Games because I could CC the battlefield. Daze one there, one over there, and keep things under control. I like that DE can be 100% Daze chance. It can hit tiny groups. PW also triggers Silent Resolve. Is DE better cause you want to safely get in close for Daze and then easy criticals? Hit a couple with phaseblasts and elemental effects relatively safely? I’m pretty bad at using PW. I’ve only used it as an Oh Shit! button and gtfo. I’m trying to understand the offensive uses for it. I’m on my 2nd attempt at a 1-Life challenge run, and Lilith seemed like the best choice. First run I started down Controller tree. Then a barrel got me. So my 2nd attempt I went Elemental tree for Resilience. Boring, but I’m not taking chances with barrels again. I decided to try Intuition, instead of working my way up the Controller tree. Risky, cuz it’s a kill skill, not a passive. But I rushed it for the XP boost. The movement speed is actually better than I thought. Juking skags and spiderants is easy, and finding enemies in cover before the kill skill expires and no bonus XP. I’m somewhere between 1-2 levels ahead now. I’m starting Crazy Earl at Lvl 27. I was 27 at Treacher’s Landing 1st run. But I’m thinking that I might not get much bonus XP out of it anymore.
Alright so here's why I did dramatic entrance. It's because I have 2 more lilith builds I've yet to release, and those the Cataclysmic and Pyromancer Lilith Builds. They both use Mind Games because they both use intuition to it's max, and with that if you spec into mind games with a maxed out intuition, it's really easy to go into faze walk, go right up to them, and jump out and start shooting them when they already have a fire dot on them
@@Fierce_Chimera Ok, you have different builds to look forward to. I was hoping to understand why you used it. Just so you know, I wasn’t saying Dramatic Entrance is bad. One of my favorite RU-vid walkthrough experts Major Slack used it. It’s because I’m bad at offensively using Phasewalk. I’m trying to learn how to use it that way effectively and still remain safe. I’ve always used it as a get the fuck out of dodge button. I guess if you used it to vary up your build videos, then that’s cool, too.
@@christophercollins3632 oh nice Slack was one the reasons why I started doing these videos! I decided to use dramatic entrance mainly because of diversity and with this build you can faze walk into a group of mobs, release your faze walk, and start mowing them down with any of the smg's.
So depending on your build it would work either way, the daze effect is kinda lame, only a few type of enemies actually get effected by it. The mind games is basically the skill if you want to tag an enemy on command, and dramatic entrance is useful for a group of mob enemies to daze all at once
@@Fierce_Chimera Thank you. I like the idea of hitting a group all at once with elemental damage, and Dazing them while the damage tics drain hp. Then just when the Daze is wearing off, the PW ends, and another round of it, while finishing them off with guns. I find Daze is good for me, because I’m using a controller, and crits are easier. The fire rate reduction is massive, so I’m safe to trade shots, and clumsily line up for crits. If I were K&M, I probably wouldn’t like it as much. And much props to Major Slack. He’s the best in the biz. I bet he’d love to hear he inspired you to make videos.
I've yet to actually get a tsunami (and I tried for a very, very long time) but I've just never gotten one. Also I forgot about it. But to answer your question it could be good, I never tried it
I was just wondering because I didn't like the gun for the longest time (slow bullet speed really hurts), but recently I've pulled it out a lot and found it to be quite powerful.
I posted a video about it a while ago. Basically if your on console you need to fill your inventory and lock all weapons and try hold-pick up and switch to a different weapon. Or if your on PC then you hit the drop weapon key, and switch to a different weapon
