Hey everyone! Join me as I laugh and cry while watching the final Night at the Museum Movie!
Robin Williams will be dearly missed after seeing this one. I got super emotional when it was time to say goodbye..
When the exhibits at New York's Natural History Museum start behaving strangely, Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) -- now the director of nighttime operations -- must find out the cause. He learns that the Tablet, which magically brings Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Jedediah (Owen Wilson) and the other exhibits to life at night, has started to decay. Larry, along with his son and museum friends, must travel to London's British Museum to learn how to prevent the Tablet's magic from disappearing.

When I first saw this in theaters I bawled my eyes out when Robin Williams says that final line. Such a good reminder to keep looking forward to another day. Larry: "I don't know what I'm doing for tomorrow" Teddy: "How exciting. Smile my boy. It's sunrise"

Okay I gotta go on a mini rant though because Akmenrah is my favorite character As the tablet starts disintegrating he starts decaying/dying, but the others start to freeze up, because they are made of wax/arent real. But Ahkmenrah is an actual living person or at least at night he is. Without the power of the tablet he turns back into a corpse. So does this mean every morning when the sun rises he dies and becomes a mummified corpse over and over and over??. That's what it seems like to me and that seems so awful/tragic to relive every day.

Not only that but if you think about it, how long was the tablet bringing the museum to life every night? If you include the time that the old nightguards started supervising the now-live museum, that's an additional few decades on top of the several years that pass for this franchise. So every day Akmenrah was becoming a mummified corpse over and over seemingly for decades on end. Traumatic asf

@@dorkywhovian1018 I believe in the first movie, when Nick asked how does Ahkmenrah speak English, he said he was in Cambridge I *think* in the 60s? So he was on display for several decades, but I'm guessing that's still been the case for however many thousand years since hes died?

No matter how many times I hear Robin say “Smile my boy, it’s sunrise” when I watch the movie, I burst out crying. He made such an impact to my life. My forever top favorite actor. I’m with ya Cody, I get emotional whenever I see Robin in any movie he’s in, I loved all the movies he played in. Let your emotions out Cody, I’m right with you, we can cry together. “Smile my boy, it’s sunrise” watching this after his death it makes me feel like Robin was talking to us, the audience, telling us not to cry, not to mourn for him. He’s happy where he is now, he’s at peace.

Fact: During the production of this movie, Robin Williams was struggling with his mental health. Because of that, he forgot his lines here and there. Unfortunately his death occurred before the movie's release. He will always be missed. Edit: Also I have no idea why they recast the actor of Larry's son.

He wasn’t just struggling with his mental health. He had Lewy body dementia that caused him to have issues while filming. This wasn’t discovered until after his autopsy.

It's been so long since I have seen this movie in full but I ALWAYS remember the "Hugh Ackman" part in the back of my head. That and Dexter kissing Larry cause it was just so unexpected and random. I really do wanna rewatch it sometime just to relive the moment. But I could tell you did get emotional, but that is okay! It's great to see your genuine emotions shine through in your reactions.

Ooookay so many people don’t know this but Robin Williams was actually sick with a disease know as Lewy body dementia before he took his life. He wasn’t unhappy or depressed he just didn’t want to put his body and mind through the turmoil of his condition or continuing and trying to treat it. So when you say he doesn’t look well in this movie, it actually is his brain and body physically deteriorating that you see, but not because of depression. I think it makes his death a little less sad because he went out on his terms instead of the disease’s. And he left us with the cherished and beautiful memories we have of him before his mental state was destroyed by his illness.

I was in Jr high when Robin Williams started this rise to fame as a Stand-up. Grew up watching Mork and Mindy, and pretty much every movie he did after. So yeah; I took his death pretty hard as well. And yes; this wasn't the best of the 3, but it was the more emotional. Saying goodbye to Teddy was us saying goodbye to Robin; which was one of the hardest things to do. I get you, Cody; I totally understand. More than most; as Robin Williams has been a part of more than a half of my life.

Let's not forget to prepare for the last installment of Night at The Museum, which will be an animated version releasing on Disney+, called "Night At The Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again". However, this movie will mainly focus on Nick, who is hesitant to follow Larry's footsteps in becoming the night guard. And yes, all the original actors will be represing their roles (except we don't know who will be taking Robin Williams' place). And as the title suggests Hank Azaria will also be returning. Also entering the picture will be Joan of Arc, who joins the gtoup and helps Nick build his confidence (so she's basically the amelia earheart/sir lancelot of this movie).

I know I said this in the last movie, but now since we got through all the movies, I will post it here as well. Here's something to ponder (question/discussion): Ahkmenrah goes back to his mummy state when daylight hits because he's the real deal. This is touched on in the first movie, but confirmed in the third movie. With this information, we gather that all "real deals" revert back to their dead state during the day. The observation below is either a hidden detail or a plot hole: It is likely that the Kahmunrah in the second movie is a fake (wax, plastic, etc) given the fact he and his soliders didn't revert back into their mummy state. This could be a nice hidden detail, but it could also be just a simple plot hole since they do exist within the trilogy. What do you guys think: Is Kahmunrah, in the second movie, really Ahkmenrah's brother (plot hole) or is he an imposter (hidden detail)?

He is Ahkmenrah's brother. In a deleted scene from the script it had a mention that he was the one who actually killed Ahkmenrah.

@@BennyBringerOfChaos If it mentions that Kahmunrah killed his brother, did it mention so by Kahmunrah himself or a side note/narration? I ask this because the fake Kahmunrah will believe he's the real one like all fakes do when they first wake up, so if he's the one who said he killed his "brother", then of course, he's going to believe he actually did. But if it's a side note not spoken by any character, then that'll make it a plot hole, and will add to the list of inconsistencies.
