Hopefully the intereaxt will make buff pickup more fluid. Cant tell you how many times ive set up a buff so i can kill it and walk over it in the direction I need to go and not pick it up so i need to turn around and backtrack. That second or two can make a huge difference

As a player since beta, the more i see of smite 2 the less excited I get. Seem to just be adding things for the sake of adding them. Both of these changes are dumb.

I think it's a kringe solution with active buttons... How do you imagine it? For example, enemies are running after you and to save yourself, you lose important seconds to hold down the button and take a huge amount of damage...🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ And in my opinion, the smite does not need an active button to pick up the buff…

Maybe only the enemy team has to pay hp to open the door. Seems ode for your own side

Just make sure its not the same button for jumping because people in these games naturally spam jump

I replied to so many comments I did not expect to see so many negative comments for a button, to pick up a buff so people do not just run over buffs and yoink them. honestly I think its a good idea, I only worry about the timing of being ganked of course chacc was not standing on it as soon as it was dropped but can someone run up and steal it with a button press before you can if you are the one who dropped it? Any pick up priority.

Buffs need to be instant.

Slows the pace down in a major way. 2-3 seconds is already a lot of time in smite . imagine opening door’s and interactions with buffs

They can remove this asap. Skill gap on buff picking up is a thing.

Not many people using their brains in the comments. Having a few examples is nice, and is an improvement, but the potential here is what's important. It's a boost to design all-around, including god design. I've mentioned it in comments but Maui's 2 can get some great touch-ups from this interaction button, for example. Having a button for player intention cleans up a lot of annoying stuff.

My Smite account has literally thousands of Microtransactions on it and now Smite 2 Founder Packs are out for 2X Legancy Gems all im getting is FOMO because there is no clear picture of my current value im geting. Like why should I spend $100 on the top pack if you're only giving my a couple hundred legacy gems? Make something that tells me how many Legacy Gems I'm going to get.. Also if Smite 2 does the same thing as Smite 1 with several events running at the same time, I probably won't be coming back, its the reason I left in first place..
