Great video. Just got an Akorn last month, done a couple briskets so far but tomorrow I'll be doing my first pork ribs and hoping they turn out as good as these.
I got an Akorn during the summer months and have mastered chicken, steak and burgers Now im stepping up my game and attempting ribs for the NEW YEAR 2021! thank you for your video!
Just got my first Akorn, and smoker period. Heard ribs were not a good thing to try first but figured hell with it. Dude, they turned out amazing following your video. I had a small rack for my first try and also had the temp around 250 (how do you keep it at 225 without putting it out?) so i did more about 1.30 / 1 / 30 with butter and honey for the wrap part but the meat was falling off the bones and not dried out. I know this is an older video but keep up the great work.
Hey glad they were great! I miss my akorn a lot but do plan on getting another one soon! Just smoke food at 250.! 225 the fire goes out to easy. I’m getting a flat top Soon then the next big thing will be a new akorn or Kamado smoker!! You will love the akorn. How ever keep it dry in the garage if you can. If not it will rust out on 2 to 3 years
@@BuckeyeBackyardBBQ hahaha fair enough. Whatever works! It looks like a Ginsu (spelling) set that i got from my job years ago for Christmas. It got the job done thats all that matters!
