I definitely have a new favorite ride that has been in the shop. That thing is amazing, and as a Trans Am guy, I feel privileged to have been in its presence. This is my new favorite RUC video, and in the words of Gomer Pyle: “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Man thats the coolest , I know youve had alot of special cars thru the ol warehouse, but this combo gave me cold chills. I'll tell ya what son, you get it. The Bandit jumped bridges and Rabbit nearly destroys them! I love your stories and your exceptional ability to make me feel as though I was standing/sitting right next to you in real time as it happened!! Brother you're living proof that not every single car salesman you meet is garbage, yes we all can pretty much guarantee that when most car salesmen die and get to the gates of hell they're sent where 'ole Satan himself has prepared and roped off an extra flaming hot area for them, the one's who decided that the only way to make money selling car's was lying, cheating, deceiving and just plain screwing people out of their money just to make a dollar for themselves.

Nice "AZZ KIKR'" plate on that W900 KW. LSA motor is what 2009 to 2015 CTS-V's have. You are right, keep your foot out of it and it will get 21 mpg, I have a 2009 CTS-V stock, it will get 22 mph if you drive the speed limit, hammer it and it drops to 16 mpg.
You; my man are absolutely hilarious!! The stories you tell and the situations you get yourself into may not be that much different than those of all the rest of us, but the way you tell them sure is. You could show me a car that is literally being held together by it's various flakes of rust, something not even suitable to be referred to as "yard art" and if you told me that was patina, I'd buy it. I'm sure that in the dictionary under "used car salesman" it has your photo.
When you said Van Halen it triggered a memory in me when I was 16 years of age in 1979. I had gone out to Stafford, Kansas to visit Merlyn Hearn and his boys on their farm. Merlyn had a bug that week to either buy a brand new Z 28 or a Trans Am. A dealership (I remember to be less than 30 minutes away) was a Chevy/Pontiac dual franchise store. When I think back on it I remember mom was driving a horribly ugly brand new Pontiac full-size four-door sedan at the time. So that must’ve been the relationship. We went to the dealership and the salesman gave Merlin the Trans Am to test drive and his 16-year-old son driving the Z/28. We took them out on the Kansas blacktop and drag raced. The Trans Am won by a nose. I don’t believe they ever did anything further on purchasing one.
This thing reminds me of the TA that was in our shop last year, I sent you pics on Instagram. Dudebro stuffed a caddy CTS-V engine in this thing, but being correct serial number on the internet so wouldn't pass smog. This dude had to basically buy an IDENTICAL crate engine so it would be CARB compliant. California! 🤦🏼♂️
My dad was a boilermaker in 70s and he told me he bought 2 TAs in the same month and took one of em to the premiere of Smoky and The Bandit and parked it right out front and people were just amazed that it was there. Dad tells it better but I guess he hated those cars and went back to his challenger black on black. If I can find any pictures of his old cars I'll post them on my IG account.
I kick myself in the ass for getting rid of my 79 400 with a four-speed trans am that had been redone by good body shop in fort Myers Florida. Shout out to cam bird Auto body! I was young and it didn't have air but I'd love to be driving that car sweating my ass off now LOL
Am I the only one the realized the bandit wasn't necessary? Like they had no idea who the snowman was, till he introduced himself. Had the bandit not picked up the girl, they'd been fine.
