Arrogant and ignorant. Man, if there's one thing SMT manages to do it's to make good become evil and evil become good and they do it so well, it makes a great and immersive story. Tyrannical and arrogant despot of a god. Benevolent and charismatical leader of a demon. What's not to love about SMT :)
Nocny Xeno Actually yes but also no. In my opinion, SMT's intentions are to show law and chaos in the most extreme way possible. Law is focused on order and lack of freedom along with only following YHVH blindly, whilst Chaos is focused on survival of the fittest and true freedom without rules nor restrictions which makes Lucifer's goal tolerable but outright terrible if that were to happen. Truely the best outcome is the neutral, which is sometimes the best outcome but leads to more suffering like killing your friends.
From what i know it was mostly found in medieval apocrypha so not technically an official angel i guess, but he is popularly depicted as the angelic form of Enoch when he ascended to heaven and his main role was to record the history of Jerusalem. Atleast that is what i understand his origins are shady at best. Noticed you were doing this for most of these vids and i couldn't resist Metatron is cool :)
Its was the angel that warned you about the candelabra from before.... Yeah, we've REALLY pissed off someone important now.... WHOA DAMN!!! Yeah, this battle's gonna be freakin' HARSH.... Oh good, he's not using any magic yet.... WHOA!! Dude seems rather mechanical, don't he? Holy Wrath?! D: ........was something supposed to happen? NOW he's starting to get serious.... Again all I see it a bright light. SURE something was supposed to happen?
Good fight. And there is a neat trick I found to fight all the bosses. I used Black Frost and he has Max Critical and I always fight bosses at full Kagutsuchi. This way, I get extra 1/2 turn without having to depend on luck.
metatron is the mouth of god in reality he has as many mouths as the languages of the world he has a brother named sandalphon who is 2000 years tall this time one needs to walk all his body
This is normal mode isn't it? In Normal mode I remember Beelzebub being an incredible bitch and Metatron being easy. That is until you(and other people) told me not to buff to the max with Beelzebub, and he became easy as pie, even in Hard Mode. However Metatron in Hard Mode is INCREDIBLY demanding. He has two phases, in the first he uses Dek* at literally every turn. You cannot buff or debuff at all, and if you do, he will instantly take it off. There is value in this however, as you can debuff him and buff yourself and he will only take one off, and sometimes he will repeat the same Dek- and let you kaja or kunda, at least for a few turns, as long as you both buff and debuff. Still, that phase is ridiculously demanding and having a Wu Kong doing massive phys damage is no luxury to get out of it. The pressure doesn't let up at all, and his Megidolaons don't stop for anything. Then he makes an angry statement like at 4:30 in the vid, and he enters the second phase, where he stops his De* spam but becomes instantly extremely more aggressive. He buffs himself with everything, Taru, Maka, and I think Suku too. You must quickly shift strategy and start buffing defense and weakening him, because if you don't do it fast enough a good Fire of Sinai and buffed Megidolaon spam will end you swiftly. Once you've buffed/debuffed, second phase isn't too hard. Just attack hard and he shouldn't Dekaja or Dekunda too often. But damn, it took me a long time(and a lot of deaths) to apprehend this boss. I used to treat it like Normal Mode Metatron, and it just wouldn't stop Dek* and drove me crazy. When you have the phases down and know the set pattern/AI priority, he's tough, harder than Beelzebub, probably harder than anything in the game, but he's doable. Noah is still the longest and most annoying fight though, especially for strength builds.
yeah that helps, but it is a pain when you have 4 debuffs on and he stops dekaja and uses dekunda. Ultimately the main thing was one buff a turn and then spamming Sun Wu Kong's strongest phys attack. First phase didn't last very long. The switch to phase 2 is still dreadful here.
@@OneAngrehCat actually, whether he'll use dekunda/kaja is totally random, on my first playthrough on normal mode he spammed them every single turn even up to the second phase, until he suddenly decided not to use them for the rest of the fight
No offence to anyone's religion, but let me get this straight: YHVH shit himself because of the Hito-shura's power and sent one of his underlings to kill him? Couldn't he have done it himself? Man, he really is a coward...
The Demi-fiend actually went after him with Lucifer. That's the whole point of the True Demon Ending, to destroy every possibilty of a new world creation, while YHVH being the last enemy (although we do see it happen in game).
