I used to live in korea and didnt know the freshwater fishing was so good. Ive started bass fishing a year ago in texas, and cant wait to fish the waters there this summer!
There are a quite a few opportunities to get one! Make sure you have at least 30 pound braid and some top water frogs. Most water systems in Korea have thick vegetation. Also, don't over look irrigation canals. Good luck!
I don't really know man. I didn't get to explore much, but what was close to me. It does seem like no matter where you are in the west side of the peninsula, you will be able to find some though. Irrigation canals can be good. Just gotta find spots on Google maps and check them out.
I only caught 2 while I was there. But, saw many! I would suggest getting weedless frogs and 30lb test braided line or higher on a bait cast rod and reel. Then I would look for ponds that have lily pads and grass in them. But, even the irrigation canals have snakehead in them. They can honestly be anywhere. Also, soft plastic worms work well when rigged weedless
