At least it wasn’t locked behind supply drops. You pay the $2-$3 and it was yours. You don’t have to blow $200 and have a chance at getting them. I bought the season pass with the game so it wasn’t an issue for me
I’ll be honest, I was really struggling with long range sniping and utilisation of traps until this video, it’s so helpful and I love how you don’t make me feel dumb while still covering the basics and getting loads of stuff that I totally missed the first time. I loved the game even when I couldn’t hit a shot past 100m but now i think I’ll be playing this for quite a while. Thanks again
You should try it in authentic it’s pretty much hell I’ve done authentic and I’m probably one of the best snipers managed too hit a 500+ meter snipe with a 2x scope and you should to it makes it more fun.
Got the game ps plus and now wish i saw this before i started the campaign, i went all battlefield style and massacred the island very loudly. 😐 Going to start the campaign and do it properly now. Thanks for this video dude.
Hi Scalespeeder, i just wanted to say that this video helped me with some tips and i really enjoyed it. I have to admit that this is a high quality video and a very useful one. Also i like the fact that it’s this long :)
HUGE help. I started off on the second hardest level (i think) because mostly what i play are stealth games and of course i thought i knew everything. Honestly i just wanted to play in pure sniper/stealth mode and that seemed like the best way to do it, but i couldn't figure out why so many features (like zoom, AI awareness and sniper/scope assistance) seemed not to be there and I was getting my ass handed to me. Learning how to snipe alone was impossible - I spent an hour on the range at the same difficulty and was literally shooting blind and by feel with no assistance from the game because my dumb ass had to go the hard way. Most of all your video helped because I've never played the SE series so i didn't know the basics of the engine and character reactions. This video will make my game play much more enjoyable :)
SE content started popping up for me a few days ago. This looked like the game for me, so I bought it. I effed around a little bit, but wanted to understand things better strategy-wise. This was helpful
I know I am 2 years too late, but thanks for making this video. I was staggered when you said you have played the entire game 3 times through in a week (!) ~ I have had the game for a year and still have not finished it, but I do have all the DLC (Deathstorm etc), which I managed to buy from Steam at a HUGE discount, plus I also got the base game on a discount. I am not at all a good player (63 years old with arthritic hands, so use an X-box for PC controller), but enjoy being useless in my own way :)
Congratulations on a very good video. Thanks very much for taking the time and trouble to show everyone the ropes. I love this game. Had to laugh when you said a knife was the only proper way to deal with officers. Why is it that something so awful can be so true?
Again nice video man. Lots of good info. Yours was the only one I found this straightforward and helpful for someone starting off on this game. What are your thoughts on staying full stealth style vs a blown cover kill as many as you can then retreat and come back style? I tried full stealth trying to get to General Schmidt but got frustrating. So I ended up just killing as many as I could, retreating until all clear, rinse and repeat until everyone was dead, but the good General. Then I just walked right in like the terminator and put one right in his head while he was crouched down blowing his whistle (with no one left alive to hear it.) It was awesome and hilarious. Wish I had a way to record, but I'm rather lazy when gaming. Haha Thx again for video.
Stealth vs aggressive is a great question, and it depends on what you enjoy and the level of difficulty. Try the game on the harder settings and you've got to go stealthy, otherwise the enemies are just too dangerous. Sniper Elite is like a different game on those harder settings......
I really like this game. Great video for those just starting out on it. My only problem is sometimes I’ll spend 3 hours on a mission. I like to do the whole mission without dying
@@ninjamike4562 That's what I did. Now I wish I'd have started on Authentic. Almost done with A+ now - 2 missions left. Mission 6 (Magazzeno) was by far the hardest so far.
Hello! I'm new to this game or ps4 in general... How do you change difficulty settings? SMy sniper 4 is set to Hard and since I'm a beginner it's way to difficult for me! Please help me!!!
I started on Hard mode tonight. Probably going to go to Normal to get used to controls. Can’t tell you how many times I shot my weapon by accident. Is there a way to switch the aim and shoot buttons to L1/R1
Good idea. Play on marksman to get a feel for the game, then go harder for that real stealth Sniper Elite experience. If that button change isn't available in the game options, you could switch the controller mapping in your Playstation settings.
I just downloaded this game after getting it with PS Plus, I've only completed 1 mission San Celini on normal (marksman) and I'm struggling with the controls at the moment tbh, I'll get used to them but I didn't know there was a skill tree and u buy weapons so this video will be perfect for me to watch, cheers. Anyone else here new to the game with PS Plus?
You can zero the sights to different distances, so you don't have to allow for bullet drop and aim above the centre of the scope. If your target is 200m away, and you set the scope to 200m, you still put their head in the centre, rather than aiming above.
Just got the game last night and having a fun time testing out the best ways to approach situations. I love the flexibility in the game. Great video and very helpful info. Nice job and thx mate! One thing I noticed (and I'm sure you obviously know) and you were probably just doing so due to time constraints for the video, but for those who don't.......You can zoom in a lot further with the binoculars. There were several guys you could have tagged that you didn't see due to not zooming in. Especially over by general shit. I mean shit. I mean General shit. (Edit: General Schmidt. Haha.) (Real edit: guess I should have kept watching. You realized the same when going for the long shot.)
State OfMind :) that's why I'm here yep, I've only played this mission so far but it's fun, I keep forgetting I'm looking through my Sniper scope and press R2 thinking I'll tag an enemy only to to fire instead! Lol. I'll get used to the controls soon though
This game was on Xbox game pass for a while I passed it over thinking it wasn’t good I eventually got it and it’s one of the best games I’ve played, gameplay is similar to metal gear solid
I have a problem: I cannot use the artillery machine gun on the right. I don't know what the reason is! All weapons are available except the machine gun. It is locked. I cannot select it to use. I hope you can help me solve the problem.
The Welrod looks like a 1911? Mate, you're crazy! It looks like a home-made zip gun plinker! I could imagine it being something some Alcatraz prisoner made from scrap lol. As ugly as it was, it did a fantastically important job for the Germans during that time period though, no question. It was also not a single shot pistol. Although it was bolt-action, both the mark I & II were both magazine-fed. The Mk. I utilized a 6-shot magazine, firing 9x19 mm Parabellum (9 mm Luger ammo,) and the Mk. II utilized an 8-round magazine, firing .32 ACP (aka 7.65 x 17 mm SR.)
"It did a fantastically important job for the Germans" You do know that the Welrod was a British designed and built weapon? The 'Wel....'part of its name comes from Welwyn Garden City, where it was designed. Perhaps you meant "It did a fantastically important job ON the Germans"
I don't seem to be able to get back to where I stopped playing. Each time I have to start at the beginning and not where I left off. Any ideas? should I have to play on Xbox live as a single player?
Thank you. In fact as there are no instructions with the game I’ve no idea how to save though I can see tha automatic save seems to operate. Even so, when I go back late nothing has been saved, whether I click to continue or load at another point. Even starting a new campaign makes no difference.
123BigRob123 it’s your heart rate bar. The higher it goes, the less you can aim well. It increases with running, climbing, other stuff that would increase your heart rate
Thanks for this mate, I appreciate your hard work plus I like your style, vocabulary and such. Subbed which is an honour I dont sub to game channels unless the personality behind the channel gels with me.
Jr Kappa Something must be wrong with your trigger button then. The zoom system Is trigger sensitive so its supposed to zoom in when pressed fully and over the shoulder when half pressed. If you’re pressing all the way and no zoom you may want to open up your controller and figure iut why your trigger isnt working
mine always says "this portion of the title has not been installed yet. Please try again when installation is complete. (11406)." please help lol what did i do wrong
How does the game calculate the experience points given to a kill? I didn't see any patterns or rhymes or reasons for it. Some headshots received more XP and others less. How would you then know how to obtain the maximum XP per kill?
@@ScalespeederGaming I couldn't progress forward because i couldn't bring up the scope when i pressed LT.. Since i couldn't scope it wouldn't let me get passed the first encounter.. maybe something is wrong with the game.. it was on xbox game pass.. It's cool i uninstalled it anyway.. Thanks anyway
Soo.. I got this game for ps+ and I heard that it's a good stealth game on the hardest difficulty and I cant figure out how to look into my scope since theres no tutorials lmao
Scalespeeder Gaming how did you get to the scope? I hold l2 to aim to scope but it didn’t work!! I’m stuck on the first time guide mission because of this bulls”t
So I have a problem on ps4 I can't scope in I only zoom with shoulder view anyone know how to fix this like I literally can't zoom with anything I can't even do it with any button
If this game was about Snipers it would be about over 90% gathering intel, photography, survival, foreign languages, field chirurgy, crafting and shitting in pants if nessecary.
It might be fun constantly repeating a certain killing technique ,saving, and loading to get the XP for weapons upgrades but I think that it takes the fun out of slowly sniping at the enemies!
Shut up chicken flaps the guy has a point and this is one of the most boring ass videos I’ve ever watched. The guys voice annoys me and he basically explains the tutorial which everyone can work out on their own
Authentic difficulty is just right for me. Authentic plus is a little too much. Afterall this game is 1 man against an entire army, tanks, pillboxes, snipers, and traps
