So many great tips on how to cope with snow and cold weather!

Nice. I remember doing this in my young teens. Just a couple of us would pack up and stay in the woods for shits and giggles. Remember waking up, and the snow would have covered up the land such beauty. We did it just because we could just be a little out of town we would hike there. Man, if you haven't done this, your missing out. This video brought out some old memories. Keep the journey coming. Some have never seen or experienced this life. Waking up was always great, but yes, packing up sucks.

That looks so damn relaxing and peaceful. Wish i could do that, got two little babies at home. I'll be doing this once they get older though!! Everything is better when you're out there!!

I use a Corona saw also but mine is the folding version. Works great and has a built in blade protector.

I like the idea of hot rocks in a sock to help dry out your boots. Were they dry the next morning?

Man has a lot of wisdom he’s passing off, he reminds me of the countless hours I’d watch Les Stroud’s Survivorman series when I was a kid. So much useful information to learn, I live in a very rural area so I’m hoping to go out here soon and start doing the same thing.

Nice tidbit about heating up or drying your boots with the heated-up rocks. I remember once on a camping trip in our VW bus my dad heated up rocks to put under our mats to keep us warm.

Hey man, absolutely love your content. One thing I noticed though - this video has ALOT more cuts than the previous ones, and it feels more like it’s in a hurry and slightly more stressful I guesy? What was absolutely top notch about the previous ones was that it was very slow paced, cuts were much more apart. Like, I don’t mind watching one view for long, that’s what I’m here for actually.

The videos of simple snow camping are great, thanks very much. I have to travel a long way from Sydney, about 5 hours, for decent snow. Including fieldcraft tips in your narration is clever. I wonder how the pita would've tasted if you'd wrapped it around the deer loin?

Filter the coffee thru pine needles. good vid.

I do the same thing with a glass All Gold Tomato Sauce bottle filled with boiling water. The lid won't come off but I add a bit of masking tape. Then I pull a wool sock over it. Keeps hot ALL NIGHT. I live in a caravan...

Add a bit of water or snow to better steam the potato... I have been wanting to test this with that soup brand.. Open the soup can half way and use the thumb tab as a hook to suspend obove the fire...

Swill the soup can out with a little extra water, refill it with water and keep it where it will get hot. Extra hot water if you need it...
