True. Although I prefer a historical reinterpretation of the character. Such as making Snow White’s skirt have three red bands going along the bottom with pearls detailing the edges of the red bands.

Yea but even though i SUCK at sewing i have a strong hate for super glue to me i always thought ut was a cheap and lazy way to make things .so in my darkest hours ill just crash and burn.

Meanwhile,. I'm hand sewing the flowers and pearls onto the centers of the flowers onto the skirt for a super clean look and so I can say I'm Haute Couture

depending on the fabric glue, lots of them aren't that waterproof or flexible once dry.

The Tampa Bay Comic Con is this Friday on the 5th through the 7th, Me and my Brother might go but he's low in money so.....Hopefully unfortunately I'm not going to Cosplay just putting my "Flash earings, Flash Shirt and my Dc car belt...belt" since it might be extremely hot but I might bring my totoro hoodie 👍

Hi I had the same problem as you had with the flowers. I ended up sewing butterflies to my dress. Now I wanna change the butterflies for some that I like better and I'm thinking to do the same as you (hot glue) but I wanted to know first: is it possible to wash the dress later? Because I went to a con and when I wanted to wash my dress I had to take all the butterflies off (because I couldn't wash them. and considering I saw them) became a nightmare

+Míriam Anfrons I haven't washed my skirt to know for sure. But it's my guess that they wouldn't hold up. I'd wash it in the sink with cold water

what would you recommend for someone who doesn't have a serger?

You could just hem it normally or do a loose zig zag over the edge to keep it from fraying. Zig cab just won't hold as well as a serged edge

How did you only use 3 feet of fabric for each layer? I tried that for the same pattern and it's nowhere near as much fabric I need for the skirt pieces

+Kirby Dickinson it was waistband stiffener. I just didn't cover it like you usually would, because mine was hidden under my bodice.

I'm looking into fabrics for my prom dress and stumbled upon the fabric she used for the top layer: Glitterbug Organza Fabric 58"-Snowstorm (you can find it on Joann's). She dyed it with RIT dye.
