Tatarin doesn't need to get though the gap, it just drives straight over the pipes. lol Trust me I'm the Tatarin guy, I've already used it to reach all those checkpoints.
Haha does it, I’m not surprised lol it’s nose is extremely good for just jumping over most things as long as you’ve got enough oomph to jump then it’s mostly a beast 👍🏻! I’ll have to try it sometime but I seen it the other day and wanted to try it with a small vehicle as there’s not that many missions overall that cater to the small scouts, it’s mostly truck stuff really unless you want to drag that crappy scout anchor trailer around lol
@@itsmrlonewolf Yea between the Tatarin and the Yar You can scout out anything that need scouting and complete any trails you need to get up. You can even use a offroad truck if you want to. Sadly isn't much use for most the scouts.
Yea, pull/drive mode was nice on occasion. I did that maze with the Yar and a lot of winching... Rolled it a dozen times i swear. Lol i went in and out of that factory the way you came out. That last point is where i rolled so many times. ROFL brought my ford up to rescue the yar thru the same gate lol I had some stumps doing that to the dolphin in drowned lands to
Yeah it’s funny how you miss it when it’s gone! I remember thinking it wasn’t the most urgent feature in mudrunner but damn I’d love to see it back now lol! Oh did you lol, I do like the Yar and do drive it from time to time but it can be a pain for rolling and it’s often an even bigger pain to flip! I respect the effort of dragging it through that course lol! One dude did it in a tatarin and just smashed and forced his way im guessing lol! He loves his tatarin! To be fair it’s a beast, it’s just too slow for me for long term stuff! It’s a cool little place to mess around in though, I wish they’d make missions resettable because I’d love to have another go! Or make it a contest and timed, but still, I wish they’d make missions resettable on all the maps as I don’t want to start a whole new game just for 1 more go at each mission! Stumps are a god damn pain in the arse lol I hate them haha! Often you don’t see them as they’re hiding in grass and the front of your vehicle is blocking the view by the time you could see it and they absolutely nail you! Either get hopelessly hooked on them or get flipped over! Some are forgiving but most are evil lol! I wish they’d add a stump remover and I’d happily go around digging them up lol
I can understand... The other thing i wish they'd add is a dozer or gravel loads and a dump bed... Would be nice to hook up the spreader chains and sprinkle a few tons of gravel into the mud...or push it out of the way all entire from time to time in a few select spots
Loving the content im still a noob at this game and the steering is the hardest thing to master, i play on the xbox its odd when i drive with the view inside the cab the steering is less skitty when steering with overview of the truck it bounces and darts around like a nun at her first orgy
Just a though for the semi trailer lo4f recon trailer. Semi trailer gives you room to carry a fuel trailer to. And the GMC is like a lesser dolphin in many ways with AWD. Especially with its fuel drinkage
I'm not holding my breath for console mods. If they come I'll be pleasantly surprised, but I'm not relying on it. In MudRunner they kept saying "we're looking into console mods", "we'll have more on console mods later", and console mods never came to MudRunner. So until they actually arrive, I'm not expecting them.
Yeah I know what you mean! To be honest I won’t dislike the game etc if they don’t add them but they’ve said they will so they’d be entering legal territory for people demanding a full refund if they never do! Not that I would want a refund but from a legal standpoint i bet I could if they give up on adding it!
When u got the wood the reason why your barrels fell was because when u pressed circle to close the key it unwithed the cargo don’t know how it packed the crane though
I’ve had that tree thing happening to me a few times too ever since the dlc-update. Even made me rage-quit a couple of times.. witch is a rare event for me..
Yeah they need an option to refresh the missions back! You can do the contests again and again but there’s plenty of missions on this map and others where I’d like to have another attempt in a different vehicle or set up etc! I can’t be arsed right now restarting my whole game just to get 1 more go at each mission! Hopefully the next map is added soon 👍🏻
Agreed. Map was quickly done. Personally I don't bother with the contests. The missions are simulations, where you have to think it through first which truck, route etc. And offroad driving as close to reality as possible. Contests are just arcade imho.
I own both the Antarctic and CAT745. Both are pretty junk in my opinion. Now both have big tires and and should be good in mud, but honestly on both of them the articulated is way to weak. Get them on any kind of odd angle and they want to steer into the ditch because the steering isn't strong enough to force itself to go the other way.
Yeah I kinda like the CAT 745C but that said I rarely use it! It’s good across stuff like the black river crossing, but enough other stuff is that it’s not unique or anything! It’s another one that’s too slow for me long term! It pulls like a beast but yeah, not much other use! I fully agree on the articulation! I showed that in my cat video when I was driving through the thick mud bit on northport! Winched to a tree and it bent the vehicle the other way as it’s articulation couldn’t fight it! I don’t really want to do the Antarctic review lol but who knows maybe it’ll surprise me although I doubt it! But it’s quicker than explaining to each person that asks for it that I think it’s not that great because of x y and z lol! It’s on the list to do but yeah that’s why I’ve been in no rush for it! Tried it, didn’t like it! Maybe the steering is better now though?
@@itsmrlonewolf I dunno, I used it a few days ago and it still felt in steering to me. Way I see it. If I need a slow go anywhere near unstoppable beast, I use the Tatarin. If I need to drag a broken stuck vehicle out of the woods, that's also a Tatatin job. If I need to deliver cargo or do missions, there are so many capable 6X6's as well as both Avoz 8X8's. And if I need a heavy hauler, the good old Navistar is always on hand. Although a P16 should be good as well. I really see no use for the CAT745C or the Antarctic with their weak steering. Pretty much every need can be archived by better vehicles.
Don’t bother with the Antarctic. Biggest waste of money in the game. So tall and narrow it rolls over when you fart in the seat, slow af, and terrible in snow. You’d think from the name it should be the best snow truck ever. But it’s shite.
Yeah I thought it sucked the first time I bought it! But it’s on the list to do and people keep asking so I may as well do a video explaining why I think it’s a waste of money instead of having to explain to each person why lol! It’s a close call between this and the Derry 4520 but I’d say both are a waste of money! Unless you’ve got plenty of money and own just about everything else then yeah I don’t see the point! It felt like a crappier version of the cat, which I kinda like but hardly ever use too! Just not useful enough or versatile enough or anything! I don’t know why they made the 2 most expensive vehicles suck so bad! One thing i didn’t like about the Antarctic was the steering felt twitchy! I bought it and had a quick go on the ice earlier and the steering felt better and it did pretty well on the ice too! Well fell through but kept slowly breaking through and didn’t get stuck! So maybe there’s hope yet but I’ll call it now that my conclusion to it is that it’s not that good and not worth the money!
