Yeah that black ice can be a pain lol! Not worth attempting in anything except chained really! It got me on my scouting lap of the map! Getting the garage isn’t too bad once you just go for it! I did this mission with the tayga hooked up to the blue side board semi trailer, I did it and didn't roll but dam it was hard and wish I'd done how you have. Some RU-vid's make this game look hard, your motor experience, understanding and enthusiasm like myself, helps, you do things the best way making things easier. Im gonna have to concentrate today on getting leveled up so i can get the dolfen. See now i got some better trucks i can go back to Michigan and start on all the tasks im only level 19 but i have roughly 300,000 in the bank i try to keep at least 250,000 only in case i need a certain truck or for upgrades but i think i have like 25 or more trailers in Michigan laying around. When i first started the game i didn't know i could sell them back and instead of hauling it back with a shitty truck i just disconnected them then recovered lol so i have at least 25 flat beds laying around lol. So ill spend the day doing that plus its pissing rain here. And about 8 weeks ago before i had my neck surgery i had such a hard time staying awake on this game because of all the narcotics i was on to kill pain id do one mission and pass out driving lol id wake up 3 hours later to find out my truck was rolled over lol

Someone prolly already mentioned this but the extra concrete slabs by the bridges you can pickup and make the bridge wider or use them to make your own shortcuts at different parts of the map😎

Theres some glowie bits up at the rock crop circle thing... I havent figured out quiet what it is. Either ghost aliens, or glitched rocks. 3 spots, same ones every time, seen at night like those ghost wolves. Did it in PTS, havent looked in live. I think your thinking motocross. Money over here is base 100. So 100 cents is $1 then just kinda goes from there. Then its goes on by singles. So 999 gets ya to the next tier at the next single just like counting. Dunno if that makes sense. Honestly the shilling system has always kinda confused me. When ive fetched the wood i generally climb up the other side of that broken bridge. Theres some craggy ice to cross not far off. That road you ended up taking for Voron down after the first pole was repaired is unpassable on mine right now. Took it 4 or 5 times and there was a skid of wood from a roll over on it i recently figured out how to clear with a mod truck and honestly where you jumped the dolphin in, everything i got gets stuck there now. The river is questionably passible now too. Even the ramp up the ice on the other side, is getting to be the same now. Very annoying.
Shillings has not been used since the 60s. He means 1, 000 Million is what we call Billions. The UK Billion is our Trillion. Diffrent naming conventions. Though US and UK gallons and pints are not the same size. The exchange rate is 1 USD gets you 80 pence( cents) a quid is slang for a Great British Pound Sterling. £1.00
Yeah I’ve seen that crop circle thing but have yet to travel there, I’ll check it out soon and see what it’s all about 👍🏻! There’s loads of creepy eyes in the ruined warehouse in drowned lands, got tipped off by someone in the comments so I went and checked it out and there’s loads of glowing eyes lol! Yeah our system of money is base 100 too and it essentially works the same way, lol I’m not sure how all that old type of money worked either, I think it was based off 12 rather than 10 which in some ways makes sense, it divides more etc, but sticking with 10 is much easier lol! Think we got rid of shillings and stuff in about 1973 so I never had to use them lol, got some somewhere though! It’s a shame with the map terrain not resetting, I’ve not specifically noticed anything myself so far, but I’ve not really done a whole lot on this map compared to some people as I’m editing and stuff, so the more I use parts then yeah it could get worse! I’m sure I seen someone else say their terrain isn’t resetting either so it seems to be an issue that they hopefully fix soon 👍🏻
ozzymandistwenty14 yeah our billion is 1000 million too, and then a trillion is 1000 billion etc! I can’t remember exactly but there was something America named differently or at least used to, i think they used to class people as billionaires if they had over 100 million, whereas here you’d have to have over 1000 million! But I’m not sure if it still happens, I remember having a big class discussion about it at school so I don’t think it was just me lol! Either way the 1000 thing sounds better and makes more sense 👍🏻! Yeah everyone calls it a quid more than a pound lol
@@itsmrlonewolf had the benefit of growing up watching old british tv shows. Heck still subscribe to a channel called Britbox. Carries lots of dramas, mysteries etc. BBC, ITV, Granada even. Stuff going back decades. I love Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Homes and David Suchet's Poroit. You can watch the entire run. Glad to watch great content such as yours.
Yeah it really does lol, it took me a while, although I think it looked more intimidating while planning it, once I actually drove it, there was a few sections that were thankfully easier than they looked, but overall still a tough set of missions to open the garage 👍🏻

Excellent video. Keep em going mate! Great move on the 'tow another truck' routine - always best to travel in pairs. I used 2x Tayga's, Voron AE and my Square Kolob. Gotta hand it to the developers, this map sure is a kick in the a$s. Maybe we all won't complain so much about how long till the next map ;)

Now you see why I said not to take the Twin-Steer up there. I do love the Twin-Steer but it's not the most stable of trucks. Especially that spot where the Grad nearly roll, Twin-Steer would of been 100% gone right there.
Yeah lol I do love the twin steer but this map in a lot of parts is too twisty and tippy and messy for that really! The AWD upgrade is great on it though 👍🏻
@@itsmrlonewolf Also when you finish Imandra, or any time you feel like it really. Don't forget there are 3 new Contracts added to Michigan as well. I won't spoil them but 2 of them are pretty long, one of them if you bring the right gear can be done in trip. They all pay good, I think it's like 20-30k each. So be sure to head back and check those out. Hell, do just one of those Contracts and you can afford another 2-3 Lo4F's. lol

Thanks for this cracking video, i've only just made my way to Imandra after restarting the game (used mods and it became to easy) and your methods have helped alot, btw loving the crane usage at the end to get yourself back upright!
Yeah I’ve not tried the Navistar yet but I plan too, I do like that truck 👍🏻! Bruce has been great on this map, it’s got plenty of grip to keep going, I may even but another one to run about in without a crane lol! Yeah I’ve not seen one either but I’ve heard a few for sure
@@itsmrlonewolf i was quite surprised how she handled herself, equipped with chain tyres, she only got in to trouble a few times but good old bruce was there to drag her out, the map is the most challenging one they have released and hopefully they keep up with same theme, it would be good to have a few thing's happening in the map, to make more it immersive and feel real, changeable weather would be a good feature, loving the video's, keep up the amazing work
I’ve been using the John on this map, and he is absolutely owning it. It’s painfully slow going, but he doesn’t seem affected much at all by any of the terrain. 2 of my 4 Lo4Fs that the gateway stole have been found (pink and white), the gateway buried them with their radar trailers in shallow graves next to the road in the far NW corner (north of where the F750 engine is). I found them after doing the power line and drove up there and they showed on the map. Tried to winch them out but no luck. Logged on this evening and the pink Lo4F clawed its way out, and the white Lo4F is spitting dirt up convulsing, killing frame rates and is visible out of the snow. I’m guessing white Lo4F will have himself dug out tomorrow. #horseofavehicle
pipedreamin yeah a few people have said they’ve been having some luck with John 👍🏻! Now I’ve got the garage unlocked I’ll have to take him out for a spin! It is slow but it does take a lot to slow it down from that slow inevitable speed lol! Oh that’s good lol you don’t want to be having loafs taken like that, it’s pretty odd that they’ve showed up on the other map but at least they’re not gone, they always find a way to make it 👍🏻! It’s Mr Lone Wolf now I’m faced with the question of whether I should sell my duplicates since I bought 4 more to replace the ones that the gateway tried to murder - I mean assuming I find the other 2 I’ll be up to 11 (12 if you count the sentinel permanently stationed at the mass grave in drowned lands to watch over the souls of the damned). Don’t know, but I’ll probably keep them, I mean I already bought them, but now I’m broke again. I’ll definitely have to repaint a few just to keep things straight.
Similar to how I did the mission, tandem vehicles are definitely the way to do it. Also had my truck glitch in those slabs but didn't fall in the water although it took me a considerable amount of time to free it, luckily I had the tayga with chains on and unbelievably I didn't lose the metal beams from the sideboard of the glitched vehicle. Nice rescue with bruce at the end by the way. 👏
Yeah on this map doing tandem vehicles seems to be the way to go 👍🏻! At least until the garage is unlocked so it’s not a double map trek back if you tip lol! Yeah those slabs are trollish, hopefully they sort them out soon! Someone told me you can move them with the cranes though which is cool, and there’s some spare ones at the side 👍🏻! Lol thanks man it got pretty close but thankfully the restore crane thing saved my ass!
Those little concrete bridge things that move can be picked up and moved around with a crane so you can carry some of them to trouble spots on the map and there's a few of them scattered throughout the map

Ahhh that sucks dude, I’ve not even tried that airplane mission yet! I like doing rescue missions but sometimes they’re in the wrong place when I’m not in the mood for it lol
i use the tayga with a trailer to deliver the metal and the white western star to deliver the wood and i got all of my resources from lake kovd, also i think if one vehicle should have chained it would be the azov antartic
Yeah I considered grabbing some stuff from lake Kovd while I was driving past! It’s not a bad way to attempt it 👍🏻! Whatever gets the job done! And yeah that would be cool with chains on it, the massive muds are good but for a truck called an Antarctic, it needs chains

Lol some trees can be knocked over but you need to be going fast enough, I could bounce off the same tree in the same truck if I was going too slow, usually high range knocks them down in these trucks 👍🏻
True I quite like using the cranes too 👍🏻! I think that’s partly why I drive a bit carelessly on here as if it goes wrong it’s just an excuse for a rescue mission lol
I meant to mention yesterday, going to the airport, keep left on the ice, a lot of big gaps in the trees, you do have to go back on the road like you did ~ you can come on the far left almost as far as the Twinsteer is ~ except for the break in the ice ~ just before that ~~~~
I've been experimenting with using cargo concrete slabs as bridges and in the trollish deep holes to make traversing the map easier, with mixed success. It would be a good addition in the game for Saber to implement cargo flat boards for this purpose, like on the Imandra map. Or random purpose bridge construction kits.
Yeah I’ve not tried it yet but someone told me those boards can be picked up and moved, so I’ll be trying it out myself soon and seeing if I can make my own bridges 👍🏻! I’ve wanted something like this for a while on the other maps too, there’s lots of holes in roads and awkward bits that would be cool to build over and/or repair
Lol yeah I was parked next to the helicopter at the airport and heard a helicopter flying and it sounded like it flew right over but I didn’t see anything? Would be cool to see one flying

I used the twinsteer with awd and chained wheels to do the broken power station. but turning radius. i also took white weston star with chained and a fuel tanker behind me for the wood and maintenance trailer
I have voron ae-4380 on chains with sideboard bed and crane along with tayga equipped with the sideboard bed and pulling a fuel trailer. That'll be what I'm using to open the garage.
This mission has been my roadblock this week to advancing. If I wasn't getting stuck, I was rolling over, or other.....jesus it has been rough but I am gonna get it done TODAY damnit.

I don't know why you "sometimes" cut so much ~ I don't think most watcher actually mind, we're as likely to be playing our own game ~~~ 😂🤣😍 Oh and the Dolphin is your veh of choice ~ do keep n eye on fuel, IMO, they've cut it almost in half ~ no toooooo bad on a straight run ~ immediately in the 'eavy stuff it's worse than a broken fuel tank ~~~ just one of my observs. Thanks
Lol just trying to keep the video length down as I can only do up to 1 hour anyway with the editing software on PS4, but yeah just don’t want it going on too long, I probably saved about 10 minutes of gameplay from removing a few sections of slow snow 👍🏻! If I’d done the video in 2 parts I’d have left the lot in, but I went to add both missions so it covers it in one video! Yeah the dolphin does run out fairly quick but there’s quite a lot of fuel tankers laying around this map which is nice 👍🏻

total of 6 hours and ive gotten nowere. this map took 5 truck and 2 scout. all dead. i got to find something that will work. zikz did nothing and the azov was flipped before i got nere the garage.
