there are something japan/Yamaha have dne wrong with this sled. the skies it 90 degrees straight down when it's supposed to be more like 45. when you jump with it or land on the skies after a nice wheelie or soemthign the sled may start to woddeling to side to side but that was on the 2008 model on 2009 and 10 they fixed it :D
@my98gmcturbo polaris 750 turbo aint in a mountain but a cross over but are heavy as shit man arctic cat said by 2012 that there would be an z1 turbo mountain and ski doo 4 stroke they actually have several prototype mountain machines but waiting till theres more of a demand to bring it out in the market

The worst rider forward snowmobile I have ever experienced was a nytro. Do not buy kids. There are better options for the same money. And if you are actually in to mountain sleds, the nytro is not nearly as fun.
Gone Ballistic, depends on what you want. If you want something fast and light, ski Doo and Polaris have great 2 strokes. Their 600's are pretty reliable. If you want a 4 stroke and you are going used, the ski Doo 1200 is the best option for the money. They came out the same time as the nytro, but do everything better. If you can spend a little more money, the Yamaha viper is a great sled. There are a lot of options. The nytro is the last or second to last sled to choose. The handling is so bad on the nytro.
Branden Burke are you talking from the perspective of a mountain rider only because I own one and the handling is stiff but you can invest you money in some upgrades to totally fix those problems. But I understand if you talking from a STOCK mountain sled.
yamaha actually has some of the worst mountain sleds ever, the are built for speed and not for mountains. i sugest articcat or ski-doo for mountain sleds
