X4’s version of this is now making some interesting strides with the 0.4 version including addons to make it compatible with the variety rebalence overhaul mod thus massively changing the game and im loving it. Think you should check out the two mods combined.

Hey Captain, thanks to you i tried X3 Again with SWLU on and after weeks of play, i have built ( and stole) my way to having a MKii Assault frigate, a nebulon b , a MC40a, a strike cruiser and a gladiator star destroyer. thanks for inspiring me to try a game i wouldn't otherwise play.

On my playthrough Ive been building up a republic fleet and stumbled on an MC75. It's such a powerhouse and ive become so attached to it I can't sell it. I've called her Claire.

Friends and I are huge fans of your liberation lore, we're doing a edge of the empire campaign and our group have "bumped" into it recently. Super cool stuff you've been doing both directly and indirectly for the community, Captain.

Awesome, you got yourself a Venator! How about making a series in sort of a condensed Rebel news feed or Captains log book entry style, if that doesn't end up in too much editing work on top of your other work of course.

What if you did an edited vid with narration to set up the battles. Like you give a description of what you've been up to, what sector you're in, who you're fighting and what ships you're after. Then you show the battle then you give some narration about how it turned out, what ships you gained or lost and what loot you picked up. Then some narration about how you retrofit and repair the fleet and then you repeat the process with the next battle.

The only things that I remember from when it was on YT is when u had the ghost from rebels and when you spent 16 million credits on chaff

Its not a small amount of work but as an idea of how to incorporate your X3AP campaign into your youtube channel, for your ATOR and i think all of your empire at war campaigns you did minute or so recap of what has happened previously in a intel drop story telling type fashion over interesting to watch clips, i think a similar thing would be really neat for X3 maybe in the 5+ min range? It would work as an advertisement for your twitch (maybe include when the next X3 stream will be?), and allow those of us who cant catch your stream reliably to follow along and be more invested in your tale when we are able to catch a stream.

What you could do for a series for this game should be memorial moments (Big Battles/Victories or Losses, Finding and Salvaging Major Ships like your "Venator" Funny moments with Chat...People who mistake "Breed" with "Bread". (Still embarrassed about that) etc. Sincerely, Lt. Vibro Blade

Shack noo Venators are star destroyers, (fyi sounds dumb but star destroyer are basically anything with the wedge shape, it's a design philosophy because a sith lord tried to destroy a star, it didn't work but the design he came up with was highly effective for combat and thus all ships from then fourth were doritos)

I would love to see some short nice and straight, or not lol, guide vids, since there’s no stock market I find making money in that game hard. Spent tons of time trading and trying to find salvageable vehicles as the empire and it just took forever.

You can just do highlights and throw those over to YT. All the battles and big expansion points. Would love to see X4 over here.

Manage to pick up an ISD 2 in a rebel empire war sector, all those ships and loot is glorious in their endless conflict, perfect for the return of the CIS hehehe

i know i would like to see the fleet battles that happen since i don't have the time to watch streams you could present it like a war corespondent on whichever capital ships happens to be leading the fight

I think it's funny how you're looking for someone to go fight at the beginning of the video, but if you look to the right of your screen, you can see one of your M2 icons is flashing red, telling you that it's actively in combat already.

The Venator is called a "Venator Class Star Destroyer" No proto about it.

It is a star destroyer. Star destroyer is a class of ship like corvette or frigate.

What are the different scripts that you are running? I remember on one round you have an abandoned ship scanner? Maybe the satellite scrip made that obsolete? Oh and keep up the great work!!!!!!!!

For those of you who have partaken: is X4 worth getting into? I recently upgraded my pc and can now handle sims of that calibre. If not that I imagine X3 stands the test of time.

Here's an idea for your X3 series so you can post episodes on youtube: why not post episodes that are like news broadcast or debriefs like at the beginning of every episode of your Star Wars series, even have guest speakers like military personnel and such who are played by youtubers, patreon members, or even your wife, that way you can make episode for the series and not have feel like your wasting our time?

I tried to go back to X3 to play this mod, and its so good but I just can't handle how bad and clunky the X3 UI is and how annoying it is to set up traders, wings, etc and manage them effectively with how X3's UI works. Loving the version for X4 so far though, even though its got its own set of issues atm

This mod is good, though seems to freeze persistently, probably to do with X3AP, I have the same issue with B5. Just as well there is Star Wars X4 now.
