I saw Phillips get held so many times and on a few of them I 100% expected to see a flag thrown, and not once did it happen. The Cedric Wilson facemask says it all. That ref was right behind the play looking at it, and he couldn't see Wilson's facemask get grabbed? It was a facemask AND defensive PI on the same play, and the ref doesn't call either one. That probably cost them a score. It was one of the most one-sided games I've seen when it comes to calls, in a very long time. I actually don't remember one team having double digit penalties while the other doesn't even have one. I feel like these refs came out with an agenda, and it was to help the Eagles as much as they could. We can't prove that, but there are players who have made some strong cases that some games are fixed by the NFL, and maybe this was one of them. The Eagles are considered one of the best 2-3 teams, and maybe they didn't want them losing two in a row. I kind of feel silly saying a game was fixed, but come on. How does a ref miss that facemask on a KEY 4th down play? That just doesn't happen imo, unless they're calling the game a certain way for one team, and a certain way for the other.

Refs were so bad in this game!

The blatant face mask on 4th down, there was so many bad calls. The roughing the passer call... Did not help that Miami had 4 O-Lineman missing against that front either. They get healthy and Miami wins easily.

@@Lancer78x Yeah it was a really frustrating game. The missed penalties were brutal. Plus having to play that defense without Armstead, Williams, and Wynn. Xavien didn’t play so their two best CBs were out. Without Achane. Waddle was banged up and missed some of the game. Now we find out Tyreek was playing hurt too. If they were at full strength and the refs call the game evenly, it could have gone the Dolphins’ way. If they can get Achane back, and their offensive linemen, plus add Jalen Ramsey and Xavien, plus Nick Needham, they should be able to beat anyone. It was a 17-17 game and they were without so many key players, that it gives me hope that if they can be healthy for the last month, they could be SB contenders.

@@FierceLeo.they did call some on the Eagles but they did not even call all the Dolphins penalties either. It was about the same missed! Eagles are just better!

A team preaching physicality all week, 10 and 15 yd penalties effectively kill drives for an offense & extend drives for a defense. What’s frustrated me to no end this week is how sports media & even MIA fans, are saying MIA was dominated & exposed, and Tua isn’t good enough. The media completely ignored the horrendous officiating & the fact that 60% of their starting O-line was out vs the best defensive front in football. They can get away with Liam @ C against teams that don’t have too 5 fronts, but Liam gets handled like a baby by the elite fronts. It’s no coincidence that the only game the entire starting O-line played, they scored 70 pts vs a defense that held KC to 18 pts.

@@ampinghard111 they didn’t mention it because the refs were bad for both teams equally missing calls and called a penalty on Dickerson for Kelce’s arm again! The media also did care in 2020 all but Wentz and Kelce were injured! They and the front off ran Wentz out of town. But the media did speak to close games with a bad call which could of changed the outcome. No matter if the missed calls were made the Dolphins would not of won. Better hope they add to the the secondary or your CBs get their prime back as you play Mahomes and the Chiefs soon!!!

@bossWhite-cf1lk well yes you want to control the line and it helps win games. Eagles seen that in 2019 with a healthy Oline and Dline they won a few games even though the secondary and WR were practice squad players! So they just made sure they kept great lines. That is why they won. Yes calls were missed but it was on both sides! Notice how none and I MEAN NONE of the media mentioned it being an unfair game!

Need the team to play better because the refs were not great but they were not the reason the Eagles won. The Eagles are just that good and now even better after a trade!

Same missed face mask was missed last season in an Eagles game and it injured their TE and caused a fumble for a loss. It happens but it is how the team plays after this game that says if this is normal for them or not. They lost to the only two teams they played with a winning record!

This is so one sided thinking! If you break down the whole game you’d see holding against Dolphins not called multiple times, a face mask and more. The no calls went both ways. And then they made the Eagles convert 4-1 again because of offsetting penalties when it was Kelce’s arm and not a penalty on the Eagles!

The refs did not call one penalty on the Eagles and they were holding the whole game and committed at least 5 penalties that were flagrant. How about your head coach giving the heads up to the cheating refs?? It is called cheating.

When you perform an action that you know is not penalized, you feel encouraged to do it again. The referees gave the players an implicit permission to cheat by looking the other way. This action diminishes the NFL products by seeding mistrust, and destroys the validity of the effort of the victor. So, no, when the scales are tilted, you cannot be sure that the victor is truly the better team nor if the victor earned the win.

@@mhansond2011 No scales were tilted, the only perhaps questionable call was the roughing the passer (it's common in today's NFL to over-protect the QB to avoid situations like that which happened to Tua last season). The refs did miss the facemask on Bradberry but the "football Gods" corrected it and Miami quickly scored on a pick six moments later.... The Dolphin's Offense was held to only 10 points, rushed for only 45 yards, and the Eagles possessed the ball for nearly 37 minutes (kneeling in the Red Zone at the end of the game). The Dolphins were DEFINATIVELY NOT the better team in this game....take the L , stop whining and blaming the officiating, and move on!!!

No calls were questionable though. There were missed calls but that was for both team about the same. Eagles were just the better team. And with the trade the Eagles only got better this week. Plus they will have their other safety back.

@TheHoff4K no questionable calls? Wilkins on roughing the passer? It was 1 stop and he pulled off. For roughing the passer it must be 2 steps and follow through. Random flag from no where on a time out. Jason Kelse got called off sides which off set Wilkins. There were over 20 missed calls, and at least 3 improper calls. Philly was not the better team. It was 2 evenly matched teams where 1 team was held down by obviously partial referees.

@@SteveOh30000 I’m not a casual and watch a lot of games with Sunday ticket. He took just over a step with arms extended to have enough force to push Hurts. It was the right call on it unless they change it since it was not a lot of force. But there were so many other non calls on both sides.

Refs missed calls on both sides. Just as many Eagles fans are on groups showing as many missed penalties on the Dolphins since Dolphin fans want to complain and act like they would of won if not for the refs!!!

Dolphins need to keep home field advantage. Tua had some issues in cold weather before but then had a good cold weather game. So you should hope they have 1st in the NFC. But Eagles are impressive at 6-1.

There were countless missed calls on the Eagles (14 I think) and several calls on the dolphins that were just bogus. So while you are bragging about yo eagles saying that you “boned our lady” understand your lady just sucked the refs off pregame. Watch film and your mind will be changed. If you don’t want to do that, there’s like a 7 min video by max optimized breaking it down showing every missed call and every wrongfully called. So I don’t know if without the refs we would’ve won, but know it was a fight. We weren’t “smoked”, we were playing with key defensive and offensive injuries, against biased refs, in hostile territory, and against an admittedly above average team. So to conclude, yes, we lost.
