The way Barbara Wilson & Monet' add their finishing touches to the end of this song has to be seen to be believed: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tOyMpQQriY0.html
I've had the extreme Pleasure of seeing Boz Live 4 times. The Ladies go crazy when The BOZ MAN starts this beautiful song. The entire place is full of the most amazing vibrations and the atmosphere is electric. They start to cry when he does..."We're All Alone"
1977... I buy tickets to see Boz Scaggs for a Friday Night show with my girlfriend, my younger sister (14) said she "LOVED" Boz and wished she could see him... SO, I bought tickets for the Saturday Night show and took my little sister. She was Thrilled and I was happy to see The Boz again. Both shows were awesome.
Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Timothy B Schmidt from the Eagles are singing background vocals on this song. Don Felder is one of the guitarist. Steve Lukather on guitar and Jeff Porcaro on drums from Toto.
Okay, my second video watched on your channel and another great reaction. Give a listen to another smooth Boz Scagg’s song- “Heart Of Mine”. These smooth songs of Boz always bring my mind back an again off again relationship I had from 1981 through 1990. Has been 33 years since I saw her but oh boy the effect she had on me….and these songs bring it all back.
Please check Boz doing this song at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco 2003. Beautiful venue and Boz had a super band with him. Monet Owens and Barbara Wilson are his back up singers. They do an awesome job and Boz lets them put an exclamation point to the end of this beautiful love song that will blow your mind!
He used to play in the little town I grew up in back in the early 80s. I was too young to get into bars then (although it didn't stop me when I could get away with it!). Small town, but Stevie Ray Vaughn used to play there every Tuesday in around 1980-1981 before he made it big.
have you listened to Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes featuring Teddy Pendergrass yet? talk about smooth! tey "The Love I Lost" or "Don't Leave Me This Way"
"Look What You've Done To Me" Hope they never end this song This could take us all night long I looked at the moon and I felt blue Then I looked again and I saw you Eyes like fire in the night Bridges burning with their light Now I want to spend the whole night through And honey, yes, I'd like to spend it all on you Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh love, you wouldn't lie to me Leading me to feel this way They might fade and turn to stone Let's get crazy all alone Hold me closer than you'd ever dare Close your eyes and I'll be there And after all is said and done After all you are the one Take me up your stairs and through the door Take me where we don't care anymore Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh love, you wouldn't lie to me, would you? Leading me to feel this way Love, look what you've done to me Never thought I'd fall again so easily Oh love, you wouldn't lie to me Leading me to feel this way
Silk Degrees was like a Greatest Hits album. Every song on that album could have been a hit single, but there were only so many songs off the album you could release as singles back then. For example, there's a song on Silk Degrees called "We're All Alone", but Boz couldn't release it as a single. So he had an idea a little while latter for his friend Rita Collidge to release it as a single, and it skyrocketed to #1 on the billboard charts.
This song is fantastic! Although, if you want more and better of this type of Boz Scaggs, go for Slow Dancer, Harbor Lights, and We're All Alone. The rest of Silk Degrees while you're at it. :D
What about a little NEIL DIAMOND “Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show” or “Hello” or “I Am I Said” or “Sweet Caroline” -so many!! 😊 Love your channel
Music was make primarily for the falling in love and falling out of love and hard brake. This generation has non of that. It all mean are hard music that that nothing to do with relationships. Sad.
